Eren's P.O.V

"Sohma?!"

Sohma Zaki was standing right in front of me with a smirk on his face. His eyes showed tiredness.

"It's been a while, Eren." He greeted.

"Where the hell have you been all this time?!" I questioned, raising my voice a little.

"I've been around a lot of places. But first, I would like to speak to you privately." He requested.

"Like hell am I going to trust you." I retorted.

"If you care about (y/n), you will." He stated.

I went silent for a moment and then reluctantly nodded my head.

We went off to somewhere more private. He lead the way to a small hut.

"What did you want to talk about?" I questioned.

"You. Now that the entire island knows about the threat that lives outside these walls, there is going to be a whole lot of trouble." Sohma stated.

"What do you mean?"

"You have the Colossal titan in your possession, yes?"

I remained silent.

I don't know what his motives are, so I won't say too much.

Sohma let out a sigh.

"You don't have to trust me, I mean, why would you? I was literally working for the royal family for a while."

"Is that why you abandoned (y/n) in the first place?" I questioned, clenching my fists.

"I wouldn't say abandon. I was away a lot longer than anticipated but I certainly wasn't expecting (y/n) to join the Scouts." Sohma snickered, with a stupid expression.

"She didn't 'join' the scouts, she went to them for help to search for you! She knew you were an ally of them for a while so she wanted help! You are the reason she's put herself in so much risk!" I shouted.

"Didn't she only discover her shifter powers because you got kidnapped? She lost an arm because she helped you? And she almost got killed because you got yourself caught?" Sohma questioned.

"How the hell do you know all that?!"

"After she was brought to me, I took some of her spinal fluid and looked into her memories. Usually, not just anyone can do that but because we are family, there are exceptions." Sohma explained.

"That makes no sense." I pointed out.

"It doesn't have to, it's science!"

Is he high or something?

"What exactly did you want to talk about?"

"The Military is going to be extra strict with what you do from now on, and that includes (y/n). They're aware of her relationship with you, since she's also Grisha's daughter. And the fact that they know she has surpassed her thirteen year limit; they are going to want to study her like a rat." Sohma explained.

"Why would they do that?"

"The only reason she's survived this long is because I kept injecting her with more of the artificial titan syrim. The more I injected, the stronger she became, but everyone has their limits. When you were doing experiment after experiment with Hange, did you notice any change to your form or health?" Sohma asked.

Huh? There were a few times where my titan form seemed off, and when I got those nosebleeds... (y/n) was forced to use her powers a lot so what was it doing to her?
