"Hey Armin." I greeted, walking into the mess hall with my books in hand.

"Hello (y/n). I mean, Doctor Zaki..." Armin greeted, with embarrassment shown on his face. I let out a light chuckle from his reaction.

"(y/n) is fine. Anyway, I want you to explain everything you know about the female titan." I requested, sitting down and opening my journal.

"Alright. I figured she was a titan shifter from the first time I saw her kill." Armin replied.

"And how did she do that?" I asked.

"She-" Armin was interrupted by one of the doors opening. Levi walked in.

"Levi? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I just came back from seeing Erwin. What are you doing with Arlelt?" Levi questioned, walking over to the table.

"He's helping me learn more about the Female titan. Since he was one of the first to spot her and to figure she was a titan shifter." I explained.

"Hm. Alright then, I want in on this too." Levi stated, sitting in the chair next to me. Armin nodded and began to continue his story.

"As I was saying, I figured out she wasn't a normal titan from the way she was moving. Titans sprints, but they do it in a rather funny way. She was sprinting like a regular person. Her appearance made it quite obvious too. When two men went after her, she killed them instantly. She didn't eat them, she killed them in cold blood. And... She reached out and pulled my hood back to see my face. She looked at me, then went on her way." Armin explained. I was shocked.

"Are you serious? Why would she need to look at your face?" I questioned, making sure to write it all down.

"Well, to see who I was. It was clear she was looking for someone, especially when she went for the center rank." Armin replied.

"Let me get this straight, she came from the right wing, with a bunch of titans following, leading to an ambush. Then her heading for the center rank? If she is a soldier like we think, she wouldn't even know where he would be. The rest were given false information for Eren's location. So how would she know?" I questioned.

"I figured since he was under protection, he would be in the safest position of the formation." Armin replied

"Yes, but surely she couldn't have figured that out on her own. I doubt the female titan is a member of the scout regiment. All soldiers were given specific positions and they were all checked for absence. Nobody else would have known the formation order. But, she would have had to know who Eren was. People knew there was a titan shifter among us, but they didn't know who or what he looked like. Apart from those in the court room that day, but even then, it would have been hard." I explained.

"So, you mean the female titan must be one of the 104th cadet corps?" Armin asked, looking shocked.

"Yes. Also, when she was fighting Eren, she displayed a lot of self defence techniques. Do you know anyone like that?" I questioned. Armin thought for a moment, and when he realized, he was mortified.

"No... It can't be her..." Armin stood up from his chair. I did the same and I grabbed his shoulders.

"Tell me who it is." I demanded. He looked at me, as his face was pale.

"Annie Leonhart..." Armin mumbled.

"Tch, I can't believe Leonhart is the female titan..."

The sound of father's words rung in my ears. Wait... How does he know about her? How does he know about the female titan?

"Right. Which regiment is she in?" I asked, squeezing his shoulders.

"I-In the Military Police..."

"I understand. Thank you for your cooperation, Armin." I murmured, taking my hands away. "I'll have to report this to Commander Erwin." I added. Armin nodded and quickly left the mess hall.

There was silence; not even Levi spoke. I felt my anger build up inside me, so much to the point where I bashed my fists into the table.

"DAMMIT!!" I bellowed. Levi quickly stood up. "Why didn't father ever tell me he knew her?! Dammit! The Military Police will take Eren and kill him, and I have nothing to show for this... Dammit..." I muttered, clenching my now bleeding fists.

"Calm down, (y/n). Crying over spilt milk won't help anyone." Levi stated, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"No... This is bigger... Father, he... He's hiding something, and he decided to even keep it from his own daughter..." I muttered, feeling my fist tremble from how hard I was clenching them.

"Listen to me. You won't get anything out of having tantrum. We have the female titan's identity, we need to focus on catching her now." Levi pointed out. I was trying not to take my frustrations out on him. I took a deep breath.

"You're right, Levi. I'm sorry for that." I murmured, releasing my hands. I felt the pain from the cuts on my knuckles. Levi reached and grabbed both my hands.

"You have a bad habit of getting yourself hurt. You need to stop being reckless, you'll die otherwise." Levi warned. I looked into his eyes, which showed concern. I nodded.

"I'm sorry, I'm losing my cool."

"It's alright, everyone needs to vent once in a while." Levi teased, patting me on the head.

"What about you?" I questioned. He stopped and looked at me.

"Huh?"

"I don't see you display a lot of emotion. Though your eyes say a different story. You once said that I could come to you and let off some steam, telling you my frustrations. It's the same the other way around, you can tell me what you are feeling." I explained. He was surprised with my statement.

"Sure, but there's nothing wrong." He replied.

"Levi. Yes, there is. Like I said, your eyes are telling me something different. Be honest, you're upset and angry about Petra and the others." I murmured, feeling heart ache just thinking about them. Levi looked away.

"If I cry my emotions or bottle them inside makes no difference. They are gone, and they will never come back. Crying won't bring the fallen back. I see no point in it." Levi stated. I let out a gasp.

"Levi..."

"Crying gets us nowhere. The only thing we can do is carry their memories with us. As long as we do that, they aren't really dead." Levi added. I felt tears prick my eyes. I quickly wiped them away with my hand.

"You're right..."
