"Enough!!" Levi shouted. I gasped and moved my arms away. Levi turned his body and glared at me.

"Are those your true feelings? Well? Do you seriously want to die?! Well, (y/n)?! I just told you the worst feeling I had was losing you! I thought you were dead! My life has no meaning without you (y/n)! And you just rant off how you'd be better off dead?! Do you regret everything that's happened?! You regret joining the Scouts and making all these friends. And what about us?! Do you regret us meeting again and falling in love?! Don't you want to get married?! So, what if your Uncle used you, you aren't the only one who has had shit done to you! All our lives are screwed up one way or another." Levi explained.

I couldn't believe what just came out of his mouth. Of course I don't regret it, I'm just upset about all the sadness that comes along with this life.

"No... I don't regret it... Meeting everyone, Hanji, Erwin, Mikasa and everyone else in the 104th, the squad... I never regret meeting you either. You're right, you gave my life meaning too... You kept me strong through the worst of times. After the squad died, I blamed myself for not being strong enough to protect them... When I found out that I was a guinea pig for my uncle's experiments, and when I found out I was a titan... You accepted me and treated me as an equal. I'm eternally grateful to you, Levi..." I cried, as my emotions overflowed down my cheeks.

Levi wiped my tears away with his thumb, then placing his hand on my head, ruffling my hair.

"We're even then. Okay? No more tears." Levi spoke up. I nodded and sniffled a bit as my nose became runny.

"Disgusting. Maybe you should take a bath." Levi groaned, as he turned back around. I smiled, and I began to wash his hair.

Soon after I was done washing him off and decided it would be best if I let him sit and relax for a while. I went back into the living room, then walking into the bedroom.

"Wow, fancy." The MP's really do have it good here. I took the belts off my body and dropped them on the floor. I took my hair out of the bun and looked at myself in the mirror that was hanging on the wall.

I've changed a lot since joining the Scouts. I'm not the quiet and nice girl I thought I was. I'm just me. Nothing more, nothing less.

I turned around and I threw myself onto the large king size mattress. And wow, was it comfy. I rolled onto my back with my arms and legs spread out like a starfish. Wait, how do I know what one looks like?

I took a deep breath and stared at the ceiling.

"This sure is a crazy world..." I mumbled to myself, closing my eyes. I thought about my time in the Scouts, and I thought about my life up till now. Thinking about it made me sleepy, and eventually I drifted off to my own thoughts.

Levi's P.O.V

I climb out of the bath, and just as (y/n) said, my body does feel better. It no longer hurts. I wrap a towel around my waist and empty the tub. I looked towards the sink and see my clothes sitting there.

I'll quickly check on (y/n) before I deal with those. I walked out and into the bedroom. I saw her laying flat on the bed with her eyes closed.

"(y/n)." I quietly spoke. She didn't respond which indicated that she was asleep. I let out a small sigh and walked to the side of the bed. I looked down at her sleeping face, seeing peace. It's been a while since I've seen her sleeping face. I miss it. It's been a long time since we've done lots of things.

I sat down beside her and gently caressed her cheek. I then brushed the hair off her face. I looked up and down her body and noticed her shirt was pulled up a bit revealing her stomach. I saw the scars the bullet wounds left. I lifted her shirt up slightly to get a better look.

They look painful.

I pulled her shirt back down.

The last time I saw her with so many scars was when we were little.

Flashback~

I was standing in front of the bathtub. (y/n) was standing next to me and we weren't wearing anything. Mother wanted us to share a bath again since it was easier on her that we could help wash each other. We had to rinse each other off with soap before we got in the tub. Mother knows I don't like sitting in my own filth.

(y/n) was running her fingers through her hair as the suds held all her hair on her head. It was kinda funny actually. I then noticed the scars and gashes on her body. They were healed up, so they were barely noticeable, but they were all over her arms, legs and torso. I couldn't take my eyes off them. She doesn't remember what happened, but just looking at her tells me something horrible.

"Levi?" (y/n) spoke.

I jumped out of my thoughts and realize I've been caught staring at her.

"What?!" I blurted out.

"Why are you staring? Did I miss a spot?" (y/n) asked, in a small voice. I blushed from embarrassment and turned my head away.

"Y-Yeah... Your face..." I muttered, as I tried to avoid looking at her. (y/n) rubbed her face trying to get the non-existent smudge off her face.

Flashback over~

I leaned closer to (y/n)'s face and pressed my lips against her forehead.

I then heard a small noise come from her. I moved back a bit and saw that she was waking up.

"Levi...?" (y/n) murmured, as she realised it was me.

"Yeah?"

"You're finished with your bath already? How long was I asleep?" (y/n) asked, as she sat herself up.

"Not too long. I'm sorry I woke you up." I said, as I gazed at her sleepy face.

"No, it's alright." (y/n) replied, rubbing her eyes and letting out a yawn. She looked at my body and then scooted closer to me.

"Your wounds look better. See? What did I tell you?" (y/n) pointed out with a spark of confidence.

I closed my eyes as my mouth formed a small smile.

"Yeah... You're right." I replied.
