The following morning, a lot of people wanted to visit and see the baby. Levi however told them to not come in large groups as we were both still recovering.
Lilliana was doing really well so far. She was feeding really well and she did her first poop after she ate. Levi was definitely not a fan.
I had just finished feeding her so I was rocking her side to side. I was slowly walking around the room.
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I quietly replied.
The door opened and Hange was standing at the door.
"Hi!" Hange whisper yelled.
I greeted her with a smile.
Hange walked over and gave a goofy smile.
"I can't believe how cute she is..." She muttered.
"Would you like to hold her?" I suggested.
"Is it alright?"
"Of course. She should get to know her Aunt Hange." I teased.
Hange's face lit up after I said that.
I handed her the baby and by her expression, she looked like she would melt.
"She weighs the same as a titan limb." Hange pointed out.
"Eh?"
"What I mean is that she weighs nothing. She's so light I could her forever and never get tired of it." Hange cheered.
"Well that's definitely an interesting comparison..." I replied.
"How are you feeling?"
"My titan powers pretty much healed me so I'm perfectly fine in terms of that. I still feel a bit feverish and chilly but I've stopped coughing." I explained.
"That's good to hear. Get as much rest as you can, you must be exhausted."
"I don't think I want any more kids..." I muttered, remembering the whole experience.
"From what I heard yesterday it definitely sounded painful."
"You heard?"
"I think the whole orphanage heard you screaming." Hange teased.
I dropped my face on the fall and slumped down.
"How humiliating... I probably woke up all the children and scared them..." I cried, holding my head.
"Oi! Shitty glasses! What did you do to her?" Levi questioned, storming over.
"Nothing. I just mentioned how she probably woke everyone up with her screaming." Hange replied, grinning.
"What are you doing with my daughter?" He questioned, glaring at her.
"(y/n) said I could hold her. I'll be her favourite Aunt." Hange cheered.
"No way will she call you Aunt." Levi scolded.
"B-But (y/n) said..."
Levi walked over to me and lifted me off the ground and walked me to the bed.
"You need to rest." Levi exclaimed.
"But I'm fine." I pointed out.
"I don't care if you're healed, you literally had a baby less than twenty four hours ago. You're exhausted so get all the rest you can." Levi demanded, pushing me onto the bed.
"But I-"
Levi shot a glare at me and I stopped talking.
"Yes sir..." I whimpered, laying down and covering myself up.
"I brought you some food so you better eat it." Levi ordered, as he brought a tray of food over to me.
"Thank you." I answered, sitting up.
There was another knock on the door and Historia, Grace and Dimitri walked in.
"(y/n)!" Dimitri cheered, smiling.
"Quiet brat, you'll wake the baby." Levi scolded.
Grace rushed over to me with a smile.
"How do you feel?" Grace asked.
"Much better." I replied, as I began eating.
Grace walked over to Hange and gazed at the baby.
"Aww!! She's so cute!" Grace squealed.
"She's adorable!" Dimitri cheered.
"The rest of your Squad are here and are waiting to see you. They're very excited." Historia mentioned.
"Tell them to wait until these brats are gone." Levi requested.
"You don't have to call them brats..." I murmured.
"Eat."
I flinched and continued to eat.
"Have you given her a name yet?" Dimitri asked, as he gently poked her chubby cheeks.
"Her name is Lilliana." I answered.
"Just like the flower!" Grace pointed out.
I smiled and nodded.
Shortly after Grace and Dimitri left, the rest of the Levi squad came to see us.
I was laying in bed with Lilliana asleep by my head.
"She looks like a cute little bread roll." Sasha giggled.
"A bread roll?!" Connie blurted.
"She's small and round." Sasha replied.
"She really is cute." Armin smiled.
Mikasa was smiling at her but didn't say anything.
"Congratulations (y/n), and Captain Levi." Jean spoke.
"Yeah, Congratulations." Connie added.
"Thank you." I replied.
"Thanks." Levi bluntly responded.
"How long are you going to take your leave of absence?" Armin wondered.
"A little while but the work I'm doing right now isn't hard so I'll probably manage to squeeze some work in from time to time. We're coming back to Trost in a few days so I'll see you all then." I explained.
"Well make sure to get a lot of rest." Connie spoke.
"I will. Thank you all for coming. I'm so glad to see you." I mentioned.
"Alright now, you've been here long enough. (y/n) needs her rest so scram." Levi ordered.
"Levi... I'll see you all in a few days." I spoke.
"Okay then, get well." They all spoke as they began to take their leave.
Then it was just Levi and I.
Levi walked over and placed his hand on my forehead.
"You still have a fever." Levi murmured.
"I'm alright." I answered.
"You need a bath."
"Huh?"
Levi grabbed Lilliana and placed her in the bassinet. He then pulled the blanket off me and lifted me up.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"You haven't washed since yesterday. You're beginning to stink." Levi answered.
"Wha-" Before I could retaliate, Levi smacked his hand over my mouth.
"You don't wanna wake the baby, now go to the bathroom."
