The next day, we all gathered in the courtroom. I stood beside Erwin and Levi. Hange and another scout were on their way to collect Eren.

I hope this turns out alright. I held my hands tightly to my chest, feeling nervous knowing I have to speak up for Eren.

"Stop stressing brat, it will do you no good." Levi glared over.

"Right, sorry Sir." I replied, looking down.

"It's alright (y/n), just remain calm and speak only the truth." Erwin mentioned. I nodded and took a deep breath.

Right then, the doors opened and Eren was dragged in by two soldiers. He was in chains alright, stupid bastards. He was eyeing the room, as he was surprised of where he was. I noticed Mikasa was here as well, along with a blonde boy. Could that be Armin? The one Eren spoke of?

He was placed in restraint by a metal bar. I've never seen a man so stressed. I felt sorry for him. I also noticed people from the Military Police glaring at him. If I can't defend Eren, then they will kill him without a second thought. Come on, (y/n), you can do this! Then, the premier walked in and took his seat.

"Alright, shall we begin?" He picked up a piece of paper and scanned it. "Your name is Eren Yeager, and as a soldier you have sworn to give up your life when called to for the good of the people, is that correct?" He asked.

"Yes." He responded.

"As an enlisted soldier during the time of war, Military documentary demands your trial be held by a court martial, as a commander to our own forces, this matter is left up to my discretion. Thus, I will decide whether you live, or you die." He explained. I was feeling even more nervous.

"Hey, just relax." Levi whispered. I looked at him and nodded.

"Any objections?"

Eren looked down, in fear most likely.

"No sir."

"Your obedience is appreciated. Let us proceed. As expected, covering up your existence is proven quite fruitless. Unless we publicly disclose your existence one way or another, we risk the outbreak of widespread civil unrest. A choice must be made, and the regiment that takes custody of you will determine your fate. The Military Police, or the Scout regiment. To begin, the Military Police will now present their case." The Premier spoke.

Ugh, here we go. Scared old dogs who are afraid of their own shadow. Father always hated them, I never heard nice things about them.

"Thank you. My Name is Nile Dok, I am Commander of the Military Police. Our recommendation followed by a thorough examination of his physiology, subject Eren Yeager must be disposed of immediately." He explained, giving a glare towards him.

I have to fight Nile over Eren? As if this day couldn't get any worse.

"We acknowledge that Yeager's ability played a part of turning back the titan accursion. However, as has been stated, his mere existence is creating a swell of rebellious sentiment. For the greater good, after we have gathered all the information that we can from him, we see him made a fallen warrior of humanity." Nile explained.

Dammit, with this statement, how am I going to make a comeback?

"Unacceptable!!" Shouted a religious wall cult leader. He started spurting out how Eren is a monster.

"Not one of these guys..." Levi murmured. He seemed just as annoyed as me.

"Now I would like to hear the Scout Regiment's proposed plan." The Premier requested.
