Chapter 156

The week after my meeting with the others, I decided to pay a visit to HQ to see everyone. I brought Lilliana and Dimitri with me. I know Dimitri has been curious to where Levi works.

We arrived and Levi was there to greet us. Dimitri excitedly ran over to him.

"Can you give me a tour?!" Dimitri begged, jumping up and down.

"Tch, you need to settle down or I won't be showing you anything." Levi scolded.

Dimitri stopped jumping and gritted his teeth.

I walked over to him and Lilliana was happy to see her daddy. She was smiling and reaching her hands out towards him.

"I think she wants you." I pointed out.

Levi brought Lilliana close to him and gave her a soft smile.

"Dada!" Lilliana blurted.

We all let out a gasp from her sudden outburst.

"She said dada!" I cheered, covering my mouth.

"Are you sure?!" Dimitri wondered.

"I can't believe she said dada! Her first word!" I cheered.

"Now it could just be her babbling noises. There's no way she knows I'm called dada." Levi pointed out.

I pouted at him and sighed.

"It doesn't matter what she thinks you are, she said dada and she said it to you. Try and be a little positive." I retorted, putting my hands on my hips.

Levi caressed her head and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Alright brats, lets go in." Levi said, opening the door.

"Stop calling me a brat! And don't call mom a brat!" Dimitri scolded.

"Dimitri. Try not to raise your voice. There are people trying to work." I requested.

We went inside and when we entered the mess hall, it was very empty.

Only a number of people joined the Scouts since then but not a whole lot.

"So is this like the dining room or something?" Dimitri asked.

"It's the mess hall. It's where everyone come to eat." Levi answered.

We walked around for a bit until we arrived to Hange's office. Levi knocked on the door and greeted her with his usual remark. We went in and saw Hange sitting at her desk.

"Ahh! Welcome everyone! It's so nice to see you all!" Hange greeted, standing up from her desk and walking over.

"It's nice to see you as well." I greeted.

Hange approached Levi who was holding Lilliana and tried to make her smile by making silly faces at her.

"Tch, that's not going to work-"

Lilliana started giggling.

Levi rolled his eyes as Hange smirked at him.

"Are you sure, shorty? Because I think her Aunt Hange just made her laugh." Hange bragged.

"Shorty?" Dimitri started laughing hard.

Poor Levi.

"Tch, you're just a bratty kid who's still a little pipsqueak himself." Levi scolded.

"I'm not a brat!" Dimitri retorted.

"That's right Levi. He's not a brat." Hange said, patting Dimitri's head.
