Two months went by after we moved into our new home. I definitely felt more comfortable here than I did in HQ.
It still felt strange not being a member of the Scouts anymore. Hange was devastated when I told her. She told me that I can always come back whenever and that my rank won't change. I still often visited her at HQ since there was no stopping me.
Lilliana was finally two months old and she was already smiling and sometimes a small laugh. It's already been two months but it feels like she's been in our lives forever.
I was currently nursing her and she was looking up at me.
"You're so adorable." I cooed.
She was starting to get more grabby so usually during a feed she was grab onto me and squeeze. Her nails were sharp but trimming them was almost impossible since I was too scared that I might accidently hurt her finger.
Whenever I reacted to her pinching me, she found it amusing and show her smile. It made me happy so I just overexaggerated to make her laugh.
There was a sudden knock at the door which was inconvenient considering I was still feeding Lilliana.
I quickly stood up and threw a blanket over my shoulder which covered her head but she didn't seem to mind.
I walked to the door and opened it only to reveal Sohma.
I was so shocked to see him all of the sudden. I swore he wasn't even on the island, or at least dead.
"Father- I mean unc- I mean, Sohma..." I stuttered.
"You can call me whatever you want." He greeted.
"What are you doing here? More importantly, how did you find where I was?" I questioned, taking a step back.
"Eren told me where you were." Sohma replied.
"Eren? You met with Eren?" I was shocked.
"Would it be alright if I came in? I feel we have a lot to catch up on."
I was very unsure about trusting him, and to make matter worse, Levi's not even here.
"Fine. But I'm in the middle of something so go wait in the living room." I requested, stepping to the side.
Sohma walked in and closed the door behind him and walked past me.
I went to the bedroom and put Lilliana over my shoulder and fixed my dress. I patted her back until she did a little burp. She didn't seem tired so I had no choice but to bring her with me.
I walked to the living room to see Sohma sitting on the sofa.
"Is that your daughter?" Sohma asked, smiling.
"Yes, let me guess; Eren told you?" I wondered.
He nodded his head and stood up. He walked over to me so he could get a better look at Lilliana.
"She sure is beautiful. She looks just like you when you were this small." Sohma mentioned.
"If you ask me, she looks more like Levi." I replied.
"So you did end up marrying an Ackerman?"
"What's it to you?"
"Nothing at all. I was just happy to hear that you have your own little family. Dina would be happy."
"Don't mention her to me. You don't get to be casual with me, not after what you did." I scolded.
"What did I do? Didn't you look into my memories?"
