Eren planted his lips over mine.

No! This is seriously wrong!! He's my brother!! But, he doesn't know that. I must stop this!!

I stepped back, covering my mouth. Eren looks at me in shock.

"What is it, (y/n)?" Eren questioned.

My shoulders began to quiver as tears filled my vision.

"Eren... I..."

Eren lets out a groan and scratches his head.

"I get it, you're in love with Levi. Figures..." Eren murmured. I gasped and stepped forward.

"No, Eren... I... Yes... No! You've got it all wrong!" I blurted. Just say it, (y/n). It's not that hard.

You're my brother, Eren, incest is wrong.

Come on, just say it!!

I can't!

He can't know yet...

Not yet...

And he can't know about Levi and I, we promised Erwin we'd keep it a secret.

"I'm sorry Eren! I-I can't return your feelings!" I blurted out. Eren was in the state of shock.

"Why? We've known each other for years, and I've always loved you ever since I met you..." Eren's heart was shattering by the minute.

"I know, but it could never work between us..." I murmured.

"Why not!?"

"You'll understand soon! But not now!" I cried, as I turned my body away. Eren remained silent then, and I took advantage of the moment and ran away.

What was Eren thinking? He doesn't know we are siblings, but you'd think our age gap would put him in his place. I'm sorry Eren, even if we weren't brother and sister, my heart still belongs to Levi.

Flashback~

"Seriously? You got into another fight?" I asked, sitting on a brick wall, resting my arm on my knee.

"Those jerks were making fun of me!" He blurted out, as his mother was wiping his face. You could tell she wasn't happy with him either.

"The more you react to them, the more they will continue to torment you." I explained, crossing my arms and legs. Eren pouted his lips and turned away. Carla went back inside after hanging up the washing.

I let out a sigh and jumped off the wall, placing my hand on Eren's hair and ruffling it.

"You sure have a bright personality. Would you like it if I taught you to defend yourself?" I asked, crouching down to his level.

"Huh? But you're a girl!"

"So, what? Are you stereotyping me just because of my gender?" I question him, leaning back.

"Like you know how to fight..." Eren mumbled, lowering his head.

"Hahaha! You don't know anything about the Underground if you think I can't fight. You think the bullies here are bad? You wouldn't survive a day where I live." I teased, as a grin was on my face.

"Oh yeah? Fight me then!" Eren yelled, standing up. I began laughing to his little tantrum and wiped the tears out of my eyes.

"Wait, you being serious?" I asked, as I stared straight at him. His eyes didn't look like they were joking.

"Fine whatever. Don't expect me to feel bad after I kick your ass." I mocked, placing a hand on my hip. Eren showed a big grin.

"Heh, we'll see about that." He said.

Flashback over~

I went back to my room and sat down on my bed. I managed to calm myself down. I turned my head to the side and saw my father's journal sticking out from under the pillow. I grabbed it and opened it up to a random page. I haven't read the whole thing yet, maybe I'll learn something new.

I laid my head down on the pillow and began reading the journal. For some reason, the rest of the book was blank. Maybe he didn't finish it yet. I quickly flicked through and near the end of the book, writing caught my attention.

"Hm?" I began to read what was written.

"It's been years since our separation with Eldia. They still haven't found the titan shifters. There is no way in hell am I letting them get their hands on (y/n). I can't imagine what they'd do to her if they did..."

"Wait what?!" I blurted out, sitting up. What was father talking about?!

"I promised Dina I would protect (y/n) with my life. If she knew (y/n) was now a titan shifter, she'd... well, not even (y/n) knows. And I intend to keep it that way. She must not know the truth of her origins....

Dina... If only I could see you one last time..."

What...?

"What's father.... What... what's his business with mother...?"
