Chapter 30

We well began heading off for our positions. I began to leave the mess hall with everyone else. I felt my wrist being grabbed and when I looked around, I saw Levi.

"What's wrong?" I asked. He clenched his jaw for a second, then spoke up.

"Don't die. Don't get hurt. Be careful." He warned. I giggled.

"Promise!" I cheered. Levi let out a sigh of relief then let me go. He'll be with Erwin for most of the time so I'm probably not going to see a lot of him.

We arrived in Stohess and managed to evacuate a portion of the city in secret. Armin and the others would already be with Annie now. We gave the news to some townsfolk that the female titan, aka Annie is responsible for their loves one's death. Naturally they agreed to help with the capture. I just hope this doesn't end in failure. Once Armin gives the signal, the soldiers will ambush her and restrain her from transforming, since the trigger is self harm.

Hange and I were sitting on a roof hiding dormant.

"If we survive this, we should chat about your feelings for Levi." Hange teased. I gasped and went red in the face.

"Get off of it. I already said It's respect I feel toward him." I replied, looking away. I was making sure my 3DM Gear was in check.

"Oh? Is that why you were hugging each other while you cried?" Hange questioned with her mischievous grin.

"What are you talking about?" I blurted.

"When we were on our way back to the walls. I saw him hugging you. Not to mentioned cleaning each other off." Hange pointed out. I turned around to hide my now tomato face.

"M-Mind your own business." I mumbled.

"You both like each other. It's obvious and you can't deny it." Hange mentioned, laughing.

"So, what? It's not like anything is going to happen. He's a Captain, I'm a Doctor. Nothing is going to happen so erase those weird fantasies." I scolded. Hange kept giggling and I let out a sigh.

Suddenly we heard the signal. It's started. Hange and I stood up and looked around. Everyone began running towards Annie, grabbing her and restraining herself from transforming. I could see in the far-off distance. A moment later a bright yellow light appeared, and an explosion went off in the area.

"Oh no! She's transforming!" Hange yelled.

"Dammit! Looks like it's plan B then. Ready the traps! I'll head over to see the situation." I ordered.

"Right!" Hange zipped away and I zipped towards the area. I arrived, and I saw the underground entrance was in ruins. I saw blood and crushed bodies around. Dammit, it's my fault this happened. I saw Annie reaching her arm in. Is she looking for Eren? What's taking so long? Why doesn't he transform yet?

She stood up and then stomped onto the damn thing. I have to stop her. I zipped in front of her.

"Hey! Over here!" I yelled. She swiped her arm at me which I dodged. She then started stomping on it. Dammit!! If Eren's in there he might be crushed. What are we going to do?!

I saw Armin and Mikasa come out from opposite directions.

"EREN!!" Armin screamed, rushing over. I looked over at Mikasa who was zipping over.

"What's going on with Eren?!" I asked. She looked pissed off.

"He can't transform!"

"What?! Dammit. We need to get her away from here! We need to lure her away! Do you think you can?" I asked. Mikasa nodded. Annie looked over and saw us. She reached over and grabbed Mikasa.
