Levi X Reader A mission worth dying for

Chapter 109

(A/N) Been a while since I updated, I've gotten small amounts of sleep but it's worth it since I've got my little boy to look after. Anyway, thank you for all the reads and votes! Thank you for those who follow me too!!

After the conversation I had with Erwin, I decided I was going to pay Hange a visit and see if she could help figure out my little problem.

I hope it's not what I think it is. As much as I want it, it can't be now. Not with the expedition coming up. It's too dangerous, and I can't miss out on this fight.

But if I am... How am I going to tell Levi? There's no way in hell he's going to let me fight, he'd probably go as far as to lock me up. No, I wasn't joking.

I arrived at Hange's office and knocked on the door. I didn't get a response, so I tried knocking again.

Still no answer.

"(y/n)?" Spoke a voice. I turned to see Hange's assistant, Moblit walking over.

"Oh. Hi Moblit. Do you know where Hange is?" I asked.

"She's out experimenting with Eren right now and won't be back for a few more hours. You know how she is when it comes to her experiments." Moblit explained. We both chuckled.

"Yeah I know."

"Did you need her for something important?"

"No nothing important. I just wanted to check up on her. I'll stop by later." I replied, as I began to head back to my room.

Now I can't stop thinking of the possibilities. It's going to keep me up at night... I need a distraction.

I arrived back at the room to see Levi sitting on the end of the bed with his head down.

"I'm back." I greeted, quietly. Levi didn't raise his head, but I saw his body tense up.

"How's Erwin?" Levi asked, in a quiet voice.

"He's alright. Just held up with paperwork." I replied, as I took my jacket off and folded it neatly.

"I see."

Levi was quieter than usual. I wanted to lighten to mood since I wasn't in the greatest one either.

"Speaking of paperwork, you didn't get given more?" I asked, in a joking matter.

"No. Not this time." Levi bluntly replied.

I let out a small sigh and walked in front of Levi. I grabbed his face and forced him to look at me. He had tired eyes and a blank expression. The same expression he wore when I met him in Erwin's office.

"Is something bothering you?" I asked.

"Not really. I guess I'm just tired." Levi murmured. I smiled and began to run my fingers through his hair.

"I hope you're not too tired, I think we both need some stress relief." I mentioned, trying to sound seductive.

"You're stressed?"

"Of course. With all the experiments Hange's asked me to help with, you can understand right-" Before I could finish my sentence, I was silenced by Levi's lips on mine.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer and pulling us both onto the bed.

After what seemed like forever, my heart couldn't take it anymore.

I started crying.

Levi was hovering above me, supporting his weight.

I was gripping his back tightly with my nails digging into his back. I quickly moved my arms to cover my sobbing face.
