A few days have passed, still tending to Erwin's wounds. I haven't seen Eren since the fight we had. I doubt he'd want to see me ever again. I wouldn't blame him, what I said and did were unforgivable. I owe him an apology, but will he accept it?

Right at this moment, I removed the stitches from Erwin's wound. It was healing nicely, and I was glad with the miraculous recovery he was making.

"Thank you (y/n), for tending to me this whole time." Erwin praised, with a smile on his face. I returned his smile as I was bandaging his arm.

"It's no trouble at all. I'm happy to help." I cheered. I put the supplies back into the first aid kit and I closed it up. I stepped back and handed Erwin a glass of water. He gladly took it and drank from it.

There was a moment of silence, when Erwin decided to break that silence.

"(y/n), if I may ask, what are your intentions from now on?" Erwin asked. I looked at him for a moment, then turned away. I walked towards the window and looked out.

"Honestly, I want to find my father. I have many questions for him." I replied.

"Your father, as in Doctor Zaki?"

"Yes. Even though he's not my biological father, he raised me so he's the only parent I've ever really known. I was separated from my real parents when I was just a small kid, so I didn't know them as well as I'd like to." I explained.

"I see. Hopefully all this conflict can end. What are your thoughts on all this?" Erwin questioned.

I let out a small sigh and placed my hand on the window in front of me.

"It's very confusing to be honest. Everything is happening so fast. It feels like a story gone wrong. Except, this is no fairy tale. No fairy to grant wishes and to make life better, we are human beings who are fighting creatures that know nothing but kill people for that only reason. This is the harsh reality, and there's no such thing as miracles..." I explained, as my expression grew darker.

"You are absolutely right. That is why we can't give up. With your strength, and the strength of our men, I know we can fight through this." Erwin said, with confidence in his voice. I turned to face him. A smile appeared on my face. I gave a gentle nod and walked over, sitting down on the chair beside him.

"Thank you, sir. It's thanks to your encouragement that I'm able to push through this. Your strength gives me strength." I mentioned, as I folded my hands on my lap.

"What about Levi?" Erwin questioned.

"Huh?"

"Doesn't Levi give you strength?"

I forgot about that. Why though? Why did that slip from my mind.

"Yes, he does. He's my biggest strength. He's helped me in so many ways, that I can never think of a way to thank him for all he's done. Though, he still calls me a brat, and he scolds me whenever I'm clumsy or get myself hurt, he's always there for me. Especially when he found out about my past..." I explained, as the thought of his kindness made my eyes feel misty.

"We met when we were children, and we were very close, but one day I did something cruel to him. I... forgot about him. I lost my memories and Levi was gone from my mind. I still remember the look on his face when I rejected his words... And even when he found out I was a titan... He didn't get angry, nor did he abandon me... He comforted me, telling me everything was going to be okay..." I explained, as tears spilled from my eyes. Erwin watched as I told my story through the falling tears.

"Levi is everything to me... I never want to lose him... I never want to be apart from him... Most of all, I never want to stop loving him, I always want to keep him close to my heart. If I forgot about him again, and found out afterwards, I would never forgive myself..." I explained, as I did my best to wipe the tears out of my eyes.

"You won't forget about him. He knows you love him, and I know you love him. It's not obvious, but I know he feels the same way. The first time I met Levi, he was nothing but a nasty thief. The look in his eye when we fought, I knew he had a passion for power. He was a strong man, and still is. The things that man has gone through, I can never imagine myself going through those things." Erwin explained, as his expression went stern. I watched him, as my eyes were still spilling tears.

Erwin looked to my direction once again.

"Levi is a strong man, but he's not immortal. He's human just like you and me. You need to look after his heart, alright? That's an order." Erwin gave me an order, but he was gentle about it. Another tear ran down my cheek, and I wiped it away, showing Erwin a big smile.

"I promise!" I cheered.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

"Yes?" Erwin called out.

"It's Levi." Said a deep voice. I let out a gasp as I quickly wiped my tears away.

"Come in."

The door opened, and Levi walked in, wearing his black suit. He noticed me sitting down, which he looked rather surprised about.

"Is there something you need?" Erwin questioned, as Levi shut the door behind him. He walked over and stood beside me.

I turned my head away, so he wouldn't see that I've been crying. He'd worry, and I don't want him to worry about me. Wait! I hope he didn't hear our conversation! That'll be too embarrassing for me to handle.

"I came to discuss the matters of forming a new squad." Levi replied, crossing his arms.

A new squad?

"Is that so? Well, I trust your judgement to pick whomever you want." Erwin replied, leaning his back against the wall. I tilted my head, so I was looking up at Levi. His expression remained straight as ever. He narrowed his eyes at me for a moment, before I quickly turned my head away. If knew I was crying, I'll be in trouble again.

"I think I'll have the remains of the 104th cadet corps. They will be valuable assets to my squad." Levi said.

So that means, Armin and Mikasa will be on the squad also? I mean, as long as they are close to Eren, they won't complain.

"When will this happen?" I asked.

"Soon, (y/n), could you go and let them know?" Levi requested.

"Me?!" I blurted, pointing to myself. He nodded, and I let out a small sigh. "Alright, I will soon." I reply, slouching my shoulders.

"Since you're here, I am actually going to get back to work soon. From (y/n)'s observations, my arm is mainly healed, so I'll work on our next expedition plan." Erwin explained. My eyes widened, and Levi looked a little surprised himself.

"After everything we've been through? We've lost many of our men and you want to send us out there again?" Levi questioned, sounding rather frustrated.

"Relax, it won't be for a least a few months, don't stress." Erwin replied, as he had a smirk on his face. Levi clenched his jaw, and he looked like he was about to say more. I stood up in front of him with a smile on my face.

"Now, now, Levi. Let's go and let Commander Erwin rest a bit more. We have things to do, right?" I questioned, as I placed my hands on his arm and lead him to the door. Levi didn't say anything and just left the room.

I turned to face Erwin once more.

"Rest easy now." I spoke.

"Thank you again, (y/n)." Erwin praised. I nodded my head and closed the door behind me
