Chapter 125

I leapt from rooftop to rooftop. I have to transform right after the next wave of boulders. If I get caught in the blast mid transformation, I'll most likely be bludgeoned.

As soon as I saw the next wave coming, I quickly ducked down behind some destroyed houses. They should go straight past me and hit the houses behind. I laid flat on the ground, covering my head with my arms, trying to stay as low as possible.

It went still and then it was finally my chance. I jumped to my feet and began running forwards again. As I ran, I brought my hand up to my mouth and chomped down onto my hand as hard as I could. I was instantly engulfed in light and darkness. In a matter of seconds, I was looking at the beast titan from a higher view.

His expression changed. I'm sure he was expecting me to pop out eventually. There's no way Reiner and Berthold would've kept it from him.

"Ah. So you're the rogue warrior titan I've heard about." The beast titan spoke.

Warrior titan? Is that what they're calling them?

"And they were right when they said you were a woman. I wonder, what's your name?"

'Tch. As if I would tell a monster like you.'

I let out a growl and brought my fists up.

"I don't see why this has to resort to violence. You and I are on the same side after all."

'Same side my ass! You're killing my friends! My comrades'

"I wonder how a warrior titan ever ended up in the walls in the first place. The private warrior project was a top secret from even the Marlyian Military. Only a handful of people knew of it's existence." The beast titan scratched himself behind the ear as he looked puzzled.

My gut tells me that Sohma had something to do with it since he knew so much on titans in the first place.

"You monster!!" I bellowed. This was the first time I ever spoke properly using my titan. It sounds so monstrous and strange.

I looked past the beast titan and noticed the other artificial titans weren't budging at all. Aren't they going to attack me or something?

He looked over both his shoulders and grinned.

"Don't worry about my friends here. They aren't going to attack you unless I give the word. We don't need to fight; just tell me your name and I'll tell you mine."

As if he would just reveal his identity to me. How stupid is this guy?

I took a few steps forward and let out a growl. By doing this, I'll buy the others some time and escape.

I have to stop him right here and now. I need to think about how I'm going to stop him and those other ones if they do decide to attack. Am I really capable of fighting five intelligent titans by myself?

The beast titan then picked up another boulder, preparing to throw it. I quickly reacted by sprinting towards him.

He then swung him around but I quickly dodged him by dropping to my knees. I quickly jumped back up and lunged myself at him. Wrapping my arms around his torso, I took a big chunk out of his ribs. He then fell back onto the ground. I then mounted him and raised my fists to punch him. When I threw my fist at him, he quickly grabbed me with both hands and threw me to the side. I tumbled a little, wasting no time to get back up.

I felt a sharp pain coming from my sides. I looked and both my sides have been ripped open.

'How?! How was he able to penetrate my amour?! What the hell is this guy made of?!'
