I opened my eyes and saw that it was night-time. I tried sitting up but my body had no strength. It hurt all over.

I noticed some dull pain would come and go... I hope it's not what I think it is... not now anyway.

I need to use the bathroom... I really don't wanna pee in the bed.

I forced myself to sit up and it was so painful, and not just from the illness, by these stupid pregnancy symptoms.

I was in a sitting position on the bed and I placed my hands on my aching back.

I wish Levi were here... Forget all the talk about him finishing work, when I'm all alone it's entirely different. I don't want to be alone. I want Levi...

I slowly stood up but suddenly there was a gushing between my legs.

"Eh...?" I looked down and saw a lot of fluids underneath me and running down my legs.

"You can't be serious right now!!" I cried.

I needed to call someone right away. However, it was still dark so there wouldn't be anyone nearby. I needed to go and find someone.

What do I do about all this fluid?

Is Eren here still? No... He would have gone home already.

I forced myself to walk which was uncomfortable to do since that dull pain I was feeling was now getting stronger and I knew they were contractions.

Crap.

I'm in labour.

I managed to exit the room and walk down the hallway, pressing my hand against the wall to keep me steady. I had to stop every minute because of the contractions.

"Already this close apart? I can't have this baby right now..." I muttered, as I held onto my stomach.

I didn't want to complain about the pain too much since I didn't want to wake the children up.

I made it to the stairwell but I had to stop due to another contraction.

"Ughh...! Nobody told me labour sucked this much...!" I cried, as I scrunched my face up.

"(y/n)?" Spoke a familiar voice.

I quickly looked around and at the bottom of the stairwell was Historia.

"Historia...!" I cried with happiness.

"Are you alright?!" She asked, as she sped up the stairs.

"No... I've gone into labour... My water broke and everything..." I muttered, as my breathing got heavier.

She placed her hand on my forehead and had a worried expression.

"You're burning up. You need to go back to bed and rest." Historia advised, as she began to help me back to my room.

"No...! I can't... Not without Levi..." I cried, as I clung onto her.

"Don't worry about it, I'll make sure to send a messenger to both Levi and the Midwife." Historia answered.

I tried to smile but I was hit with another contraction. I clung onto her tighter. I then dropped to my knees and began coughing again. I coughed up more blood and Historia let out a gasp.

"Come on (y/n)!" She pulled me back up and we continued to walk back to the room. When we finally got there, she sat me down on the bed.

"I'll be right back; I'm just going to call for someone." Historia quickly rushed out, leaving me alone.
