A few hours passed since Levi left. I was in my office looking through my uncle's old research to see if I had overlooked anything.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

The door opened and Eren walked in. His expression looked kind of gloomy.

"Eren? Everything alright?" I asked.

He shut the door behind him and sat down.

"(y/n), what do you think will happen?" Eren asked.

"When what will happen?" I wondered.

"After your baby is born."

"What do you mean?"

"The only reason I was able to use the Founding titan's power was by touching someone of royal blood, you already know this. But what if they didn't want to wait around for something like that to happen?"

"Who are they? Who are you talking about?" I asked.

"The government. What if they don't want to wait around for me to use the power, and decide to use someone else? Someone of royal blood?"

"Are you talking about Historia?"

"Not just her, but you as well. They know that you're Grisha's daughter so they know that you have royal blood as well." Eren spoke.

"What are you trying to say there? That they'll force Historia to eat you? You know that won't work because of the King's will." I pointed out.

"Not Historia. You. You aren't a direct descendant of the first King. The rule only effects is descendants. You might be an exception." Eren mentioned.

"But why would they risk doing that in case it was a failure?"

"Why wouldn't they risk it? It's only a matter of time until more enemies come and attack. The government won't want to wait that long." Eren explained.

"So what are you suggesting we do?"

"Keep you safe. It might be too dangerous for you to even be here. And if your baby is a girl, who's to say they won't do the same to her when she's of age."

"So what, are you suggesting I pack my things and run away?"

"Most likely."

"Pfft. And here I thought I was sleep deprived. You sound crazy. They aren't going to force me to bear anymore children." I pointed out.

"Maybe not you, but who knows what they'll do to Historia. And what if they force you to eat me, and then your thirteen years will one day run out. You won't be around to stop them from using your child." Eren explained.

"But where would I even go? And what about Levi?"

"You don't tell him. Don't bring your emotions into this. If you tell him, he'll try to stop you."

"But seriously, what am I supposed to do? Why are you even saying any of this? What's gotten into you?" I asked.

"You could flee the island, take that other warrior girl with you."

"So basically, you're telling me to abandon everyone? There's no way that's going to happen. I'm not about to leave all my friends and comrades. I'm especially not going to walk out on Levi, I've already hurt him enough." I retorted.

"I know it doesn't make sense now, but one day it will. And if all goes well, I'll even come and bring you home myself."

I felt angry from him even suggesting that I leave everything behind.
