The realization that Sam wasn't in there made Deena nauseous.

She turned around quickly to Sam's dad and showed him the gown and bracelet.

"She's gone!" Deena was immediately distraught as she ran out of the room to talk to someone at the desk, Sam's dad following right behind her.

"Where's my daughter? Why didn't anyone tell us she got moved or taken to testing?" Sam's dad asked, he started to get angry with the person at the desk.

The doctor looked through the charts, finding hers and looking through it quickly.

Deena looked around the hospital floor frantically as she stood and waited for the doctor.

The doctor talked to the nurse next to him and whispered to her. Which caused Deena to get even more worried and slightly angry with the doctor.

"She didn't get moved and isn't getting tests done until after her treatment tomorrow." The doctor look at them, completely confused why Sam's dad even asked.

"She's not in the fucking room, her hospital gown and bracelet were in the bathroom. And her clothes are gone. Where is she?" Sam's dad spat at the doctor, his knuckles turning white as his hands gripped the countertop of the desk.

The doctor and a few nurses went to Sam's room, looking around for her like Deena and Sam's dad must've missed Sam when they looked around in the small room.

The doctor and nurses all looked at each other just as concerned at Deena and Sam's dad were. "We have to call a code Adam." A nurse said as she ran out of the room to a telephone.

All Deena could do in the moment is watch as they realized Sam was missing and announced it on the speakers of the hospital.

"Let's split up, okay? And then meet back at the room." Sam's dad told Deena before he ran off in the other direction.

Deena felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest with how fast and hard it was beating as she ran around in the hospital, looking in rooms.

There were nurses and doctors who were looking with her, she watched as Sam's dad was running and searching everywhere like she was.

Deena spotted a pay phone and called Kate and told her that Sam is missing and told her to get Simon and come to the hospital.

Sam's stomach ached, realizing that she hasn't ate for hours since the breakfast with pancakes at Deena's house.

Sam tried to run, but shortly stopped as it made her even more dizzy and out of breath.

Sam turned the corner to the street she lived on, and walked to the front of her house, making sure to hide behind things just in case her dad was home.

The window in her living room was open and the house was completely lit up. She watched as her mom walked across the room.

And Sam realized she was talking to someone, then she saw Caleb's dad walk to her and hand her a glass of wine. She was laughing at him and then leaned in and kissed him.

Sam couldn't believe her eyes. Her mom always treated everyone like they were beneath her, like she could do nothing bad.

She went to church twice a week and attended all the school and church fundraisers, anything to make her look like the perfect wife and mom.

But now she's kissing someone else. She was kissing the father of the man that harassed her daughter. It hurt Sam to the core to see her mom do this.

Part of her wanted to go inside the house and scream at her mom, but she remembered that she was technically missing and she needed to get to Deena's house before someone realizes she not in her hospital room anymore.
