"Deena, I want to drive you somewhere. Can you come with me?" Sam had just put the things she needed in the trunk of Deena's car so Deena couldn't see them.

Deena's eyebrows knitted together as she looked at Sam. She was so confused because she always drove and Sam never wanted to.

"Yeah sure..., but you haven't driven in months. Are you sure?" Deena stood from the couch and took Sam's hand she reached out.

"Yes, positive. Very positive. I know I'm a magnet for bad luck but it's not far I promise." Sam smiled and kissed Deena's cheek before leading her to the car.

Sam opened the passenger side door for Deena to get in and bowed for her as she got in.

"Oh my God you've been spending too much time with my brother, you're such a dork." Deena laughed.

Sam took Deena's hand and kissed the back of it. "True, but I'm your dork so it's worth it."

They both laughed and Deena leaned across the middle console and kissed Sam.

Sam put in the prom mixtape Deena made in the radio.

"Is it a secret or am I allowed to know yet?" Deena asked.

"It's a secret, now shhh I'm driving."

Deena laughed and rolled her eyes at Sam. As she drove Deena found it adorable how focused and determined Sam was as she drove.

Sam pulled over on the road, between Sunnyvale and Shadyside. Where she ran to when she got in the fight with Deena at her dad's house.

"You're taking me to the middle of the woods? Sam have you thought this out?"

Sam huffed, "yes I've thought this out, just come with me and trust me." Sam got out of the car and went to the back to grab the things she packed.

She wrapped a blanket over her shoulders and carried a bag and a basket.

"Let me carry something," Deena got out and went to help Sam.

"No I got it," Sam tried, but Deena didn't budge. So Sam gave in and let Deena carry the bag.

Sam led them to the clearing in the woods that Sam found a week ago. It looked like a path for them with the red moss on the ground as it led to a huge rock.

Sam set the basket down as she spread out the blanket. She took the bag from Deena and put out candles in the middle of it and lit them.

Then she took out her stereo that she brought from her dad's house and set it down. She put a mixtape in that Deena made for her years ago.

Deena stood by as she watched Sam set up. Her smile grew wider as Sam did.

Sam brought the basket over and placed 2 cheeseburgers and cokes down, how they always got it together at their restaurant.

Sam then laid blue rose flower petals around the blanket. When she was finished she looked down at the blanket then at Deena with a huge smile on her face when she saw Deena's smile.

Sam went to Deena and held out her hand, "Mrs. Samantha Deena Johnson, could you please come with me?" Sam had a smirk on her face as she spoke.

Deena couldn't help but blush when Sam called her that and gave Sam her hand right away, which Sam brought the back of her hand to her lips and kissed Deena's hand like she always does.

Sam led them to the middle of the blanket, kissing Deena before sitting down in the middle with her in front of the candles and cheeseburgers.

Deena look over at Sam in awe. "This is amazing Sam. I love you so much. The blue flower petals for the blue house right?"
