Sam ran her fingers along Deena's collarbone as she laid her head next to her.

"I'm applying to colleges soon. I was waiting until my grades got up from missing so much school," Sam spoke softly.

"I was wondering when you were going to do that. I'll apply anywhere you are. It doesn't matter to me as long as you are there." Deena kissed the top of Sam's nose after she spoke.

She didn't believe anyone could love anything more than how much she loved Sam. It was impossible to her.

She loved Sam with all of her body and soul. She thought about Sam all the time. And no matter how many years they've spent together, she could never get enough of Sam and never annoyed by Sam.

Sam leaned in and kissed Deena, a smile on her lips after.

"I love that and you. It doesn't matter to me unless you're there too. But we can apply together next week when my grades should go up." Sam kissed Deena again, this time slowly as she savored the moment.

"Thank you for keeping it between us. What I said in the hallway about only living for you. I never told anyone about that and I let you in. And you didn't judge me and I trust you with my entire heart. It means so much that you've kept it between us. I promise to tell you whenever I feel as sad as that. But since the cancers gone, I don't think I will." Sam spoke, her lips just inches away from Deena's.

It scared Deena still, what Sam said. But she was grateful that Sam trusted her again and she knew how hurt Sam would be if she told anyone about it.

Sam and Deena fell asleep in each other's arms. Perfectly content after redoing their prom together.

Sam woke up early enough to make Deena's cinnamon rolls. She felt like spoiling Deena again and Sam loved them also.

Deena joined Sam in the kitchen again, smiling as she stood behind Sam at the counter and wrapped her arms around Sam's waist.

"Good morning my love, I see you're spoiling us again." Deena kissed Sam's cheek.

"You deserve it. After everything and last night. I plan to spoil you everyday." Sam turned around in Deena's arms and wrapped her arms around Deena's neck and kissed her.

They sat at the kitchen table and ate together. Deena have Sam her pills to take.

They also spoke about which colleges to apply for. And the one they both wanted to go to most was NYU in New York City.

Sam went there on a vacation with her parents when she was younger. And she fell in love with the city and she knew Deena would also.

They got ready for school together, holding hands and kissing every time they could.

It was like that at school too. They felt like they were in their little world all day.

They held hands at lunch and Simon and Kate made fun of them for being so in love and gross.

Sam got a few comments and stares whenever she held hands with Deena. Sam had to pull Deena away every time before she fought them.

Sam didn't let them phase her. She knew it was going to happen so she was prepared. They were surprised with how Sam looked and she cheered on the cheer team for her to be dating Deena.

The week at school went by quickly. Sam was focused on her grades and Deena helped her with all of it.

They both went to their school counselor and both applied to NYU and a few other places together but NYU was the one they both wanted.
