"She's so fucking obsessed with you," Olivia says as she fixes her high ponytail as she looks into the mirror of Sam's locker.

Sam doesn't reply. She's already fucking exhausted of having to listen to Olivia's voice throughout the day. The only voice she wants to hear is Deena's. And now there was Peter in the way, and was helping Sam's mom to keep Sam as far away from Deena as they could.

There's no Deena around to make sure Sam is taking care of herself. To remind Sam to take her medicine or to make sure she's eating enough. Sam withdraws into herself. Hiding her feelings and barely talking to anyone. Her mom, Olivia and Peter were constantly talking around her but Sam rarely replied or looked at them. She just got through the motions of the day until she could go to her moms house and lay in bed, finally alone.

Sam spends the time she's not at school in her bed, grasping onto one of Deena's sweaters as her tears soak into the material.

Memories of Deena is the only comfort that helps Sam fall asleep. One of her favorite memories she loves to dream about is the look on Deena's face when Sam put the ring on her finger. Or the first time Sam got Deena to climb onto her roof and sit back and watch the sunset together.

She knows Deena is trying to get her to talk to her. To even get Sam to look at Deena in all their classes and in the lunch room. But Sam keeps her head down. She can't bring herself to look at Deena and see the hurt she's causing.

The bell rings and Olivia leaves Sam to go to her class and Sam can finally let out a deep breath now that Olivia wasn't next to her and watching her every move.

Deena waits until Olivia turns the corner down the hallway then moves out from the dark empty classroom across from Sam's locker.

She grabs onto Sam's arm without a word and pulls her across the hallway to the classroom she was just hiding in.

Sam knows it's Deena that is grabbing onto her and she's too weak to have Deena near her that she doesn't fight Deena dragging her away.

"Deena.." Sam speaks softly once they face each other for the first time in almost days. Deena doesn't reply but turns to lock the classroom door.

"You're not seriously seeing him again?" Deena was fuming with jealousy that Peter got to sit next to Sam and wrap his arm around her, after months of Deena finally being able to have that with Sam.

But she also knew that Sam didn't want that. No matter what Sam said to her, Deena knew Sam didn't want Peter to be the one touching her.

"W-We shouldn't," Sam says in a whisper as Deena closes the distance between them and backs Sam into the wall of the classroom.

"Has he kissed you?" Deena presses her body against Sam's. They've touched so many times before but it feels more electrified and more intense in the moment.

"Of course not," Sam swallows hard. Both of their breathing is heavy the closer Deena presses her body against Sam's.

Sam raises a hand to Deena's face, her fingers running down Deenas lips. She's missed them and dreamt of them since the last time she kissed Deena. She was petrified that she would never be this close to them again.

Deena's hands grip onto Sam's hips, her nails gently digging into Sam's skin underneath the dress Sam is wearing.

"Deena, w-we can't. They could find," Sam tries but is interrupted by Deena pushing her hips back into the wall and her lips crashing onto Sam's.

Sam's hands grab onto the collar of Deena's shirt and pulls on it tightly to bring Deena's body with her.

The warnings of her mom or Olivia or Peter finding them race through her thoughts but Sam can't pull away from Deena. It's been days without tasting her, feeling her and she's been so cold without Deena.

"I don't give a fuck about them, you're all that matters," Deena says as she breaks the kiss to catch her breath.
