Deena sat up in bed, gasping and trying to catch her breath.

Her dream felt too real. She could barely tell what was real and what wasn't right when she first woke up.

Her cheeks were stained when tears, as she was crying as she slept.

Deena quickly scanned the room, not finding Sam.

"Sam! Sam!" Deena yelled at she got out to bed.

Sam runs into the room before Deena could reach the door, with a toothbrush in one hand and toothpaste in another one.

"What?! What's happening?!" Sam yells as she enters the room and looks at Deena.

"Oh my God, Sam!" Deena knocks Sam back into the wall as she wraps her arms around Sam tightly as if she would disappear at any moment.

"Deena what's wrong? What happened?"Sam dropped her toothbrush and toothpaste on the ground so she could hold Deena's face in her hands.

Deena kissed Sam, putting so much energy and force into the kiss, Sam has to take a step backwards to keep herself from falling.

"Deena, you're scaring me." Sam pulls away to hold Deena's face and look into her eyes.

"I had a dream. It felt so real. And you died at the end you got cancer again. My dad got paralyzed and I had to stay home to take care of him and you went to New York as I stayed, and then you wanted to come back and help so I broke up with you to make you stay in college. But I fucked everything up and regretted doing it the moment I hung up the phone. Then you came back to Shadyside after three years because your dad died then we fought then we got back together. Oh! I bought a blue house that matched the color of your eyes and fixed it and remodeled it for you during the three years we were apart. And then Kate tricked you and you came to the house and I was wearing my prom suit and we got back together then we lived together and got married and then I took care of you as you died. I was crying in my sleep and I woke up gasping for air."

Sam tried to follow Deena's words even though Deena was talking so fast. She could see the pain in her eyes when she remembered when Sam died in the dream.

"I'm right here, Deena. No cancer. And your dad isn't paralyzed. And my dad is alive, I'm pretty sure, he keeps bailing on me before I can find out. I love you so much and I'm very much alive and not letting you ever break up with me so that was just a nightmare. I'm right here. You and me always."

Sam smiled after she spoke and kissed Deena again.

Deena calmed down as Sam spoke. "I love you so fucking much." Deena said as she kissed Sam again.

Sam found it adorable how Deena ran to her after she dreamt that Sam died.

Sam kissed Deena's forehead then took her hand. "Come on, I know something that will calm you down."

Deena followed Sam. She realized how it was just a dream and everything was okay with Sam and they were still together. But Deena did take note of that blue house idea.

Sam locked the door behind them when they got into the bathroom. She started the water to draw a bath for them.

She turned and wrapped her arms around Deena's neck.

"Did you say we got married?" Sam asked after kissing Deena.

Deena wrapped her arms around Sam.

"Yes. It was magical but the real thing will be so much better."

Sam raised an eyebrow and smirked at Deena.

"Are you proposing, Deena Johnson?"

Deena smiled and kissed Sam. "Not yet. I was debating between a flash mob or have it written in the sky by an airplane or on the Eiffel Tower. I haven't decided yet and then we will see."

Sam laughed as Deena listed off the options. "You'll have to surprise me. Even if you did it here in this bathroom, I'd say yes every time." Sam leaned in and rested her forehead against Deena's.

"I love you so much Sam. You have no idea how happy you make me. You're the most important person in my life and that will never go away."

Sam hummed on Deena's lips, she was about to kiss her again when she felt warm water on her feet, causing both of them to jump.

"Oh fuck," Sam laughed with Deena as Sam let go and turned off the water.

"I think we get too distracted. First the bread and now the bath." Deena spoke with a smile on her face.

"That's true, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you so much too." Sam leaned into Deena, slipping on the floor but Deena caught her and they busted out laughing.

They laughed so much Josh banged on the door and told them to shut up, which made them laugh even harder.
