"Taylor won't help. She's part of this too somehow. She kissed Sam when she was drunk and then started some bs that I was cheating on Sam. If her dad owns it.." Deena sat down at the kitchen table as she spoke.

"You think she would threaten your dad's job to Sam if she stayed away from you? That's awful and sick. They wouldn't do that," Sam's dad said as he turned towards Deena.

"That's exactly the kind of shit they would do. They would do that for Sam's mom. She's sick and awful. She's evil, you know that. There has to be something we can do."

"This is crazy. I'm sure there's an explanation for this. You and Sam are just going through a rough patch. You'll be okay," Sam's dad said.

Deena stood, "I'm going to prove to you how sick they really are. Let's go to her house and get the explanation then. I'm not lying."

Sam's dad sighed, "it's only going to make everyone upset, but okay, I'll go."

Sam jumped at the sound of a car horn next to her as she walked on the sidewalk. Even though she warned Deena to stay away, Sam hoped it was her, but she sighed when she turned and it was Peter in his car next to her.

"Sam, get in!"

Sam ignored him and kept walking, which made Peter honk even more and call out her name from the driver's side.

"What do you want?!" Sam yelled and turned to the car, utterly annoyed that he was even near her.

"Let me drive you home, come on. I wanna talk to you."

"I'm sure that's not all you want. I'm not being alone with you in a car. I'm almost home anyways."

"Fine," Peter said and parked his car on the side of the road then got out to catch up with Sam.

"We don't have to drive, we can walk. I can walk and talk. I'm a lot smarter than I used to be." Peter said with a smirk, and bumped Sam's arm.

Sam rolled her eyes. "That's hard to believe. Why don't you leave me alone? I'm not going to put out for you, I'm sure some girl is desperate enough in Sunnyvale."

"Trust me, I know you won't put out. I tried, remember? I gave up on that years ago."

Sam shook her head and started walking faster in front of him.

"Chill out, Forest Gump. I'm just doing what I'm paid to be doing. Making sure you aren't around Deena."

Sam stopped in her tracks. "Paid?! She paid you to do this?"

"Yeah, five-hundred dollars a week. Easiest shit I've done. But that lesbian has got it bad for you. Don't see why."

"Is she paying Olivia and Taylor too?"

"Yup. I don't know why Taylor is even doing it, her family is rich as fuck. She sounds like she might have a thing for you too. Your mom could be a serial killer and I wouldn't be surprised."

"Does Taylor's dad even know about this?" Sam's hands turned to fists as she got more furious the more Peter told her what her mom was doing.

"Don't think I should tell you that."

"Fuck you," Sam spat at Peter and turned to run to her house. She ignored him when he called out for her and started running faster through the yards for a shortcut to her house.

As she got to her house, she saw that her dad's car was in the driveway and it made her nervous as she got to her front door. When she opened the door, her heart started racing the moment she heard Deena's voice in her house.

"Deena?" Sam spoke as she opened the front door. She knew that her mom should be home by now so the combination of her mom and dad and Deena being in the same house made her sick to her stomach.

"If you stayed away from her, then none of this would've happened!" Sam's mom yelled, and Sam followed her voice to the living room where all three of them were.

"I can't believe you, Joan. This is sick and twisted. How could you do this to a person? To your own kid?" Sam's dad yelled back.

"Deena?" Sam walked in the living room. She ignored her parents the moment she saw Deena and went towards her, not caring that she was in front of her mom.

"Sam," Deena turned towards Sam when she heard Sam's voice.

"Samantha, get away from her. You know what will happen if you do." Sam's mom tried to go towards Sam but her dad held her mom back.

"This is done, Joan. You've hurt her too much and for far too long. We are done with you. She's 18. She doesn't need you and she will never talk to you again. Ruin your own life." Sam's dad said.

"She's been paying Olivia, Taylor and Peter this whole time to keep me away from you. I'm sorry, Deena. I'm so sorry." Sam put her hands on both sides of Deena's face.

"It's not your fault. She's a monster," Deena huffed and turned towards Sam's mom as she spoke then back at Sam.

Deena wrapped her arms tightly around Sam and pulled her into a hug. She missed just holding Sam like this and she wasn't scared anymore when she kissed Sam as she pulled away from the hug.

"I'm calling my lawyer to redo the divorce settlement. You deserve nothing. Then the cops about how fucked up this is. Are you fucking psychotic, Joan?" Sam's dad shook his head and didn't wait for a reply. "Come on, Sam. Let's go home. You won't see her again."
