"Sam you can't slap people. Well you shouldn't because they will go after you then. But yes you get a pass for that. You left me in awe again, Samantha Fraser. I can't believe you did that." Deena said once she led Sam to an empty classroom to get away from the cafeteria and Taylor.

"I couldn't let anyone talk to you like that and I know you would've done the same. Slapping was the least amount of harm I could've done. But I held back." Sam laughed, she didn't regret standing up for Deena and slapping Taylor.

Deena put her hands on Sam's waist and brought her closer, kissing Sam slowly and deeply.

Sam wrapped her arms around Deena's neck. It felt so good to her that she could finally kiss Deena this way as they hid in a classroom.

They both jumped when the principal called for both her an Deena's name on the speakers to come to the front office.

They both went to the principals office. When they walked in they saw Taylor there as well with an ice pack on her face. Which caused Sam to groan and roll her eyes.

Deena was more nervous and worried about what was going to happen to Sam than Sam was.

"Samantha, we have a no bullying and no violence policy. Why did you slap Taylor?"

"It was an accident. There was a fly I was trying to get. It's not my fault Taylor was in the way." Sam spoke, keeping the best serious face as she could.

It took all of Deena's energy not to laugh at what Sam just said to the principal.

"Samantha, don't lie to me. I know you've been through a difficult year. But you still can't use violence."

"She called me a d*ke." Deena spoke up when Sam took a moment to think how to reply to the principal.

"Ah, I see." The principal said and glanced at Taylor.

"Samantha, I will let this go if you apologize to Taylor. You've had a horrible year between cancer and getting shot so you deserve some room to make mistakes."

"No. I'm not apologizing. She should apologize. I would do it again if she called Deena that again." Sam turned to look at Taylor.

"Sam, no it's okay really," Deena tried. She didn't want Sam to get in trouble from this and she felt that it was partly her fault.

"She can't go around saying things like that. Knowing that they will hurt and offend people. Violence isn't the answer I know. But she deserved to get justice for how she attacked us too."

"Samantha, Taylor is getting dentition for the next two days and if you don't apologize you will too."

"Sam," Deena knew what Sam was going to say.

"I'm not sorry." Sam turned towards Taylor. "You deserved much worse, you should be grateful Deena dragged me out of there before I could."

Deena sighed, knowing that Sam just got dentition.

"Samantha you have dentition for the next two days. Joining Taylor as well. Hopefully you both use that time to reflect and heal your friendship."

Sam huffed and left the office, Deena following right behind her.

"Sam, can you slow down? Are you okay?"

Sam waited until they got to her locker before stopping.

"Yes I'm fine. I wasn't ever going to apologize to her. You feel like you need to protect me I get it. And I feel like that with you even though I'm still weak but I'm going to try to anyways."

Deena sighed as she reached out and tucked Sam's hair behind her ear, gently caressing her cheek after.

"I know. Well at least it wasn't that bad. Only two days. If it was me that slapped her I'm sure I would've gotten it worse."

Sam looped one of her arms around Deena's after she got her notebook for her class from her locker. She led them towards their last class of the day. Which Sam would now have dentition right after for two hours.

"That would've been hot though. You getting pissed and slapping her. I would've for sure rewarded you for that." Sam teased with a smirk on her face.

"Oh my God, Sam," Deena laughed as her cheeks grew hot at what Sam was insinuating.

After their last class Sam had to go straight to dentition. Deena said she would come back in two hours to get Sam. Even though it was just two hours apart, they still missed the other.

Sam sat as far away as possible from Taylor. When she walked in, Taylor was already sitting and Sam had to walk past her. When she did, she looked at Sam like she was about to say something but Sam just kept walking.
