chapter 120

Deena took Sam's face in her hands and kissed her. She's spent so long without Sam, she took her time and savored the moment as her lips were on Sam's.

They've yearned for the other every moment they spent apart. To hold, touch, kiss and be as close to the other as possible.

Deena broke the kiss as she started smiling widely. "I can't fucking believe it. Sam, I love you so much."

Sam didn't have time to reply before Deena kissed her again. Sam wrapped her arms around Deena's waist tightly.

"I love you so much, Deena. I wanted to surprise you. I've missed you so much." Sam pulled back and moved her hands to each side of Deena's face and looked at her for a moment not saying anything, both of them with smiles on their faces.

"But I called today and they said you were asleep. I've miss you so much. Fuck, Sam. I can't believe it."

"I know, I had them lie to you that I was asleep while we waited for test results to come back to make sure I was okay to leave. They recommended me to stay for two more days, but as soon as they said the virus was out of my system and my immune system was stronger, I had to come to you." Sam tucked some of Deena's curls behind her ear.

"You really did fucking surprise me. I missed you so much. I couldn't see you or hear your voice for days while you were asleep. I'm so happy you're better and stronger, Sam." Deena kissed Sam again after she spoke. She didn't want to let go of Sam for as long as she could.

"I'm sorry. I know that must've been so hard. But I'm here now and I came straight to you after my dad came and got me from the hospital. They told me you called everyday multiple times a day. Thank you for that. I'm so sorry how hard this was. I couldn't imagine how I would get through it." Sam sat up in the bed as she spoke and Deena followed her.

"It was hard but it's not your fault. I'm so happy you're here now. It killed me that day to leave you when you kept asking me to stay."

Deena was nervous to bring that day up. The day had been so emotional and intense from seeing Sam for the first time after Taylor and Riley hurt Sam by telling her Deena has been cheating on her. Then Deena being pulled away as Sam cried and begged her to stay.

"I was a mess. I shouldn't have guilted you like that. I knew it wasn't possible. I just felt whole when you were there and holding me again. It was painful without you there. Without anyone there, I was just by myself feeling like shit. But I'm so happy to be here with you now." Sam moved to straddle Deena's lap, a leg bent on each side of Deena. "And make up for lost time."

Deena's hands immediately grabbed onto Sam's hips as she moved into her lap. She looked up at Sam, she's been dreaming of being this close to Sam again for over a week until now. "That sounds perfect." Deena spoke as she brought her fingers underneath Sam's sweater.

A smirk played on Sam's lips as she held Deena's face in her hands and leaned down and kissed her.
