after jisung took a bite of cheesecake that minho quite literally contaminated, nothing interesting really happened while the two of them were awake.
yeah, minho was still surprised that jisung even did that to begin with but that seemed to be it.
however, it was a different story when the time to sleep finally came around.
jisung was the first to turn off his lamp, setting his phone to charge and turning on his side- hood still over his fluffy hair and all.
he faced the wall, back turned to minho's side of the dorm as the blanket rested as high as it could've without suffocating him.
minho on the other hand had just finished putting his things away, putting the real important things in a separate bag for him to take tomorrow to his friend's place. it would be a pain, but he really didn't care.
he washed his face and changed in the bathroom before finally turning off his lamp, allowing the room to be engulfed in darkness as he crawled under the sheets of his bed.
he sighed the moment his head met the pillow.
his back was killing him from being on the floor this whole time to unpack, so it was more than appreciated to be in a comfortable bed.
minho could've passed out right then and there, if it weren't for the sudden murmurs that began to come from jisung's side of the dorm.
the older's eyes shot open, as he maneuvered to looked over at the blonde. "what?" he flatly asked, eyes squinted with tiredness.
he waited for a reply, but was met with absolute silence. minho groaned as he just laid back down with slight annoyance. he could've just imagined he heard something.
however the second his eyes closed once more- another murmur came from jisung.
turning his head, minho saw the blob under the blanket move slightly. and that's when it clicked.
jisung sleep talks.
of course he fucking did.
"my god." minho ran his hand over his eyes, rubbing them in annoyance as he sighed deeply, hearing another row of babbles come from jisung's bed.
he wouldn't be able to sleep like this.
after another five minutes, minho thought it was finally over- until he heard jisung move around again and say something he couldn't hear from where he was.
"that's it." minho mumbled to himself, pushing the blankets off himself and standing up. he was tired. all he wanted to do was sleep.
he made his way over to jisung's bed, pulling down his blanket slightly so he could see his face.
the blonde was laying down on his back, his eyes closed in sleep and his mouth a little open to allow his obnoxious breathing.
but he looked.. calm. he looked like a baby had been knocked asleep. his hair was fluffed everywhere and his hood no longer over his head as a result from falling down in his unconscious state.
his head was leaning more to the left, eyelids softly shut as his body rose and fell from all his breathing.
minho almost decided to just leave him- almost- until he began to babble a line of words right then and there which sparked back his initial irritation.
"it's in.. the other drawer." his words were groggy and barely coherent, laced with sleep and made no sense.
"hey, shh." minho said, eyes dry with eager sleepiness as he continued to hold the blanket off jisung's face. "be quiet."
