he had a week to figure out how to make minho realize his feelings.
well, less than a week now.
jisung was aggressively biting at the end of his pen, nibbling on the plastic in intense thought while his leg bounced an absurd amount.
he had been sitting at his desk for maybe an hour now, a little notebook open with the word 'plan' written at the top of it.
how does someone make lee minho realize he likes them?
jisung tried his hardest to think, groaning in frustration when nothing popped into his head and he sunk into his chair.
minho obviously noticed the younger in this weird little state the moment it started. from where he sat on his bed, he'd seen jisung write something down on a page only to scribble and rip it out like ten times already.
after a couple minutes of watching this scene, minho walked over while jisung was in the middle of sighing in frustration and almost ripping his hair out.
he was too focused and concentrated to even notice minho approaching. he had nothing on the page yet, and that was the problem.
he had no experience with winning someone over before. sure, he had feelings for people in the past but nothing ever like this.
he needs strategy. he needs to up his nonexistent game.
his right leg was bouncing and he was murmuring in frustration under his breath when minho came up right next to him.
"never seen you stress over an assignment this much." he commented, silently sliding over a bowl of washed strawberries between jisung and his notebook.
the younger only whined, placing his pen down and completely falling back into the chair with an exhausted sigh.
his hand was already subconsciously reading for a strawberry with zero thought.
"min i'm gonna kill myself. that's just it. this is so bad." he grumbled, taking a strawberry into his mouth and chewing on it.
"i'll kill you if you tried." minho flatly said, looking down at jisung's face and how his hair fell backwards because his head was leaned so far back.
he looked at him for a second and brought a hand to jisung's knee to stop it from bouncing, giving a soft pat to it afterwards.
"do you need help? i'm good at math if that's what this is." he looked over at the notebook only for jisung to suddenly come back to life and close it.
"no, it's just a lost cause." he murmured, getting another strawberry and letting go of his pen with a saddened sigh.
minho hummed, going to stand directly behind the chair after jisung decided to throw his head over the headrest again. he looked down over him, their faces appearing upside down to each other.
"you're acting like you're having a mental breakdown." he states, eyes still and calm while jisung had to try not and let his own wander across his face.
"that's because i am." he whispered, bringing his hands up to cover his face with a line of incoherent mumbles.
minho moved jisung's hands away to look at him again with a smile that was far too fond for jisung's good.
"how about we watch a movie to get your mind off of whatever this is for a while?" he suggested, and jisung felt embarrassed by how quick he nodded.
minho always knew what he needed.
~~~
a couple minutes of set up and decisions later, the two of them decided on a cheesy romcom and popcorn. at this point hot chocolate was a staple so minho made two mugs for them and sat on his bed.
