partner work became less terrible. for some reason, it didn't feel as awful as it first did.
there was something that felt different after the whole mother situation, but neither of them took it upon themselves to dwell on it much.
"okay class, another collaborative piece. because we all know how much i love those. but THIS time, it's going to be in oil." ms. jang explained, and immediately jisung lit up.
"an oil piece? i love oil paint!" he said, completely contrasting the way minho groaned and rolled his eyes at the same time.
"of fucking course it's oil." minho's complaining didn't go unnoticed and jisung turned to him with a tilted head.
"you're bad with them?" he questioned, earning a curt nod in response.
"yeah. i only ever used them once." he said.
"i can show you." jisung said, ms. jang speaking up again instantly after.
minho gave a quick look before turning his attention back in front of him as her words began surrounding them again.
"i want this to be a couple days of work. i suggest exchanging numbers to form a time fo work on this project together."
that part was easy at least. the two of them lived together.
the issued lied with the lack of desire to work on this project.
as excited as jisung was, minho had no enthusiasm or hope for something to be done in oil.
he knew at the beginning of the year he said he hoped to get better at it, but for some reason right now he would just rather fall back into the materials he was familiar with.
"i don't wanna do this project." he murmured said to himself.
"don't stress yourself out over it too much. it's not so hard, you just have to be really patient." he laid his palm flat against the cold table.
"do i seem like a patient person to you?" minho eyed.
jisung only gave a smile. "sometimes." he said.
minho blinked.
"you have patience somewhere deep in you. i'm sure you do."
minho turned his chair to jisung. "what about you?" he questioned. "do you have patience?"
the blonde seemed caught off guard with the question, but he looked up in consideration. "i have my moments too." he said. "i can be patient if i have to."
minho raised an eyebrow. "oh really? how patient can you be?"
sensing that this was leading to some form of teasing, jisung folded his arms and eyed the older suspiciously. "i can stand my ground pretty well."
"hm." without planning on saying anything else, minho reach out and pinched the skin on jisung's arm between his fingers.
jisung winced, pulling his arm away and shooting a look of disbelief towards minho. "what the heck??"
"that was fast." minho grinned.
"i didn't yell at you though." jisung pointed out.
true, he didn't yell.
so minho reached out again and pinched jisung's cheek.
he earned no other reaction except for a deadpanned look, so he pinched harder on the other cheek.
"feels like mochi." he said, clearly distracted by this new found amusement.
"you said that at the party."
