they had a lot of time to do the project.
it was supposed to be a very grand assignment, according to ms. jang. so she offered plenty of time to finish it.
the two of them had a good idea. for each of them to focus on one side of the canvas and then eventually figure out a way to connect the two sides.
that was the plan.
but what was not part of the plan, however, was minho getting sick.
jisung came home from hanging out with felix, jeongin, and seungmin.
he bursted in their dorm with a bright smile, practically glowing because he had finally seen the new horror movie he'd been wanting to see for a while (unfortunately it wasn't scary, but it was soo fun to make jokes about the characters with his friends).
"i'm home~~" he sang, tossing in his bag and shutting the door behind him. "i just came back from an movie and ate at the cafe felix works at. it was SO good, their cheesecake is-"
he stopped in his tracks and let his sentence die on his tongue the moment he noticed the lights off in the dorm.
he looked around, seeing how lifeless everything felt.
"minho?" he turned on the lights, looking towards the side of the dorm that wasn't his to see a lump under the covers.
jisung blinked.
had he not gone out at all since he left?? jisung's been gone since 10:00 in the morning, and it was now 7:00 pm.
he approached minho's bed, hesitating before poking the lump that didn't seem to move at all. "did you not get out of bed at all..?" he questioned.
he got ahold of the edge of the blanket and slowly pulled it down a little to reveal the mess underneath.
minho was laying on his side facing the wall.
his hair was messy and sticking to his forehead slightly, his arm rested over his eyes while the other one was slack against the pillow he was laying on.
his breathing was labored, and jisung could hear every breath that punched itself from his lungs. he hadn't even moved from the blanket being halfway pulled off of him.
"what- minho are you okay?" jisung couldn't help the concern that came up on its own.
he looked pale, and even though jisung couldn't see his face, he could still tell that his complexion looked sickly.
upon investigating, jisung noticed that him pulling the blanket back had revealed minho's lower backside, as his black shirt had ridden up from his sleep.
instantly looking away, jisung threw the blanket back on top of him awkwardly.
there was no doubt that minho was laying in bed sick right now.
how? jisung had no idea.
but he didn't know what to do. so what did he do when he didn't know what to do?
he called chan.
the phone rang and jisung stared at minho all the way across the room as he nibbled on his nail until chan picked up.
"hey! jisung how are you?" chan's happy voice reached his ears all to familiarly.
"bad." he uttered. "terrible."
"huh? what do you mean? you alright?" chan's voice dipped with concern.
"i think minho's sick." he whispered loudly into the phone speaker.
