"today's lecture is quite long so buckle up you guys." ms. jang instructed, plopping herself down at her desk, opening her snack drawer to pull something out of it.
everyone sighed.
not like this class was much stressful to begin with (ms. jang always made sure to put as little tension on her students as possible) but it looked like everyone still felt tired from their lack of a sleeping schedule.
jisung went to grab his laptop from his bag, taking it out and placing it gently on the table in front of him.
right as he opened it and pressed the on button, he heard minho let go of a frustrated sigh next to him.
he looked over and saw that he wasn't looking up. instead, he was looking at his phone underneath the table.
from what jisung could see, it looked like he was reading a text message of some sort. jisung didn't focus on that though, because he was drawn back to the tense expression plastered on the older's face.
suddenly minho turned his phone off and shoved it in his bag, subconsciously letting go of another sigh as his eyes bored at the front of the room as ms. jang taught.
he did not look happy.
jisung thought that he would go back to his normal expression after a few minutes went by- but all he did was rest his cheek on his hand and blankly look forward.
typically jisung was hard on himself about focusing up front whenever a lecture was going on, but he found himself going for a piece of paper from his bag.
he tried to multitask, listening to the lesson while doodling on the page at the same time. his process on the drawing would slow down each time ms. jang would say something he thought was important.
eventually he tapped minho's hand that was resting on the desk to get his attention, and slid the paper over to him once he was done.
minho flatly looked at the paper, reaching to flip it over.
minho snorted quietly through his nose looking at the drawing.
after looking at it for a while, he flipped it back over to the blank side and began drawing something with his pen.
jisung couldn't see well because minho was using his right hand to do it, so he waited a few seconds for minho to slide the paper back to him.
jisung looked at the doodle he did in return.
