minho didn't hate the cold.

unlike jisung he wouldn't typically get cold easily, and even when he did it didn't take much for him to warm up again.

jisung on the other hand appeared to shiver even through a slight passing breeze and would continuously shake even after it was gone.

which is why minho was so surprised to hear that jisung wanted to go out on a walk despite it still being cold out.

he said yes, of course.

the two of them finished eating and got ready to go leave their place of comfort together.

they both threw on heavy jackets to bundle up before heading out, which rose a question to minho's head. "where are we going?" he asked, looking at the blonde.

jisung gave a little shrug. "maybe.. to the park." he said, trailing off.

minho couldn't help but shake his head at the uncertainty, snorting lightly through his nose. "you didn't even have a destination?" he asked, more of an observation than anything.

jisung didn't reply to this though, eyes still stuck to the ground as they walked to god knows where.

alright. something must've been wrong.

he eyed the younger to try and find any signs of the life that was present when he first walked in. there wasn't an ounce of positivity or brightness anymore.

"hey." minho stopped walking briefly, his hand coming up to rest on jisung's shoulder to get him to stop waking. "did something happen?" he carefully asked, turning jisung towards him slightly.

just from his eyes alone minho could tell that he had been heavily thinking about something. did his mom reach out to him?

jisung simply shook his head. "nothing serious." he simply moved forward to continue walking.

relieved that it had nothing to do with that woman, minho continued to follow despite still feeling like something was off.

jisung was acting weirder than usual.

they eventually ended up at a park, very much deserted given the time and weather. jisung pointed over to a bench for them to sit on and sat first.

once sitting he didn't peer over at minho once, instead nibbling on his bottom lip and kicking his feet within the frosty dirt.

to say this was worrying was a little bit of an understatement. more than anything though, minho was confused. jisung had been so energetic and was joking around when minho first walked through the door, but now it was just different.

"i was just thinking.. and.." jisung finally spoke. when he did he still didn't look over yet, still looking at his shoes as he swung his feet, clearly using the motion as a distraction. "well i guess i've been wondering."

minho raised an eyebrow. "wondering?" he had no clue where this was going.

"before i say anything.. this is for me. a-about me.." this time jisung did look over, but only for a second. his eyes scattered back down before minho could even get a good look at them.

"but.. i need your opinion on something." he trailed off, this time even turning his head slightly away from minho's stare.

"okay."

he took an inhale, picking the wood of the bench they were sitting on, completely risking getting a nasty splinter in the process. "what are your opinions on.. well no- how-" he sighed in frustration at his tongue tripping. "i mean like, what's your view on liking someone.. like.. love?"
