the next day was calm. it wasn't as hot as the previous days. there was even a nice breeze that was messing up everyone's hair.
minho was the first to class, sitting down in his spot without saying much to any of the other students.
even if he did, he doubt they would've said anything in return. just give a weary glare in his direction.
he closed his eyes, head resting in his folded arms against the table. his leg subconsciously bounced to the beat of the music playing in his ears.
the music was so loud that if someone stood next to him, they would surely be able to at least hear the constant beat of the song.
it was so loud that minho didn't even notice jisung sitting down in his assigned spot next to him. he was seconds from completely dozing off when suddenly jisung whacked him.
"wake up." he murmured, shaking minho's arm a little more just to be annoying before pulling away. "ms. jang is here."
minho took out an earbud and lifted his head to direct a slight glare towards the blonde for a moment. he didn't say anything though.
jisung pulled his chair closer to the table, sighing a little but taking out his laptop for the notes.
he had little colorful clips in his hair, decorating it and matching with the colorful beaded bracelet that was on his wrist.
he wore a baggy t-shirt, his jeans having a few rips on them, and his brown converse being the decided shoe.
he didn't look dead like he did yesterday.
minho pulled himself to sit up, rubbing his eyes tiredly before taking out his own things as well.
"hello everyone." ms. jang waved politely before clasping her hands together. "so, quite honestly. i'm not feeling it today." she sat down on her desk with a deep sigh, moving her long honey colored hair from her shoulder. "so we're having a 'creative brainstorming' day."
the little cheers everyone have made her smile. "take time to think about where you want your focus to go with your topic, and then eat your snacks." when she finished talking she turned towards her computer with the intent to begin the new episode of her show.
people instantly began talking to each other, small conversation breaking out with others going on their phones.
jisung turned to look behind him, scanning around the room with slight confusion at the missing person. he turned to minho. "where's hyunjin?" he questioned.
minho scrolled through his playlist. "he said he overslept." minho replied, knowing all too well that the brunette definitely just decided he didn't wanna be in today.
"oh." jisung trailed off, slowly shutting his laptop and slipping it back into his bag. "kinda miss him."
"pfft. why? he'd be screaming on the top of his damn lungs by now." minho pressed on a song.
the blonde shrugged a little. "i guess his loud voice is nice sometimes.." his voice trailed off. it was awkward. he didn't know why- but he felt very awkward.
"you know you don't have to stay here if you don't wanna." as if sensing the issue, minho spoke without even looking up from his phone.
jisung didn't move. he still sat there even if he was sorta tense. "where else would i even go?" he briefly looked around.
minho gave a shrug. "dunno. go talk to someone."
jisung couldn't suppress a snicker at this comment. "talk to someone? i would rather chew my arm off." he sat back more comfortably in his chair.
