jisung realizes what minho meant about going overboard when he looks at himself in the mirror the next morning.

the two of them were getting ready for class, minho not even as much acknowledging the state of jisung's poor skin as he woke up.

he simply gets out of bed and wakes jisung up, yawns and scratches his head as he walks over to the coffee machine.

they both have gotten dressed and did their morning routine, and everything was fine until jisung went into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

he physically freezes when he turns on the light and gets a look of himself in the mirror.

at first he's frozen.

he looks at his reflection, slightly wondering if that was really him and not some random person in front of him.

and then it settles in his head that oh my god that is him.

his neck is in purple blotches.

starting from one end of his throat and branching down to his collar bones. the other side of his neck had fainter marks, but was still bruised up nonetheless.

his eyes stare down at the spot he remembered minho biting down on, and his skin definitely showed result of it.

the darkest shade of purplish-red resides there, along with faint yellow around the edges.

it looks like a wound.

and jisung can't help but stare at it.

he feels his skin turn hot and something buzz inside of him and his eyes don't move.

he wants to pull the collar of his shirt down just to see how far it went, but he knew he would most likely pass out.

he can feel the blush crawl up his neck, and can see it in the mirror too.

he looks over his reflection one more time as if it would change.

throughout a bit of high school and mostly college, jisung had seen a fair share of people walking around with hickies on their neck.

it was normal for everyone else.

jisung knew someone who would walk into class every single day with at least one placed somewhere on his person.

and typically jisung wouldn't give it a second thought when he saw it.

it was just never something he experienced.

he simply accepted the fact that it wasn't his lifestyle and wasn't meant to be- that kind of thing wasn't meant for him and that's okay.

he was never upset over it. he just accepted it and moved on.

until now.

he was staring at a version of himself he didn't recognize with wide eyes and an agape mouth.

"you good in there?" minho's voice is the only thing capable of breaking jisung out of his spell, and it's faint from where he was pouring coffee into a mug.

jisung stumbles a little but rushes out the bathroom, a gasp finally registering in his throat at he looks at minho.

the ravenette looks up from the counter; hand catering a white mug with a cat paw on the base of it.

he looks at jisung and brings the coffee up to his mouth to sip.

jisung takes a deep inhale before speaking. "are you INSANE?" he questions, face bright red and blotchy like the rest of him at this point.
