"Ok, Welcome, everyone!" Namjoon raised his voice, "Thank you for coming to this, little, gathering, of our's," he let his arm sweep around the room, "this is nothing formal so you won't be expected to hold any speeches or anything,"
"Oh, thank God!" Namjoon's dad said, relieved, making everyone laugh.
"That's next week," Namjoon said winking at his dad, getting even louder laughs, "But we all wanted to say something to you, when we're all gathered like this," he put his arm around Jin and when Taehyung and Jungkook stepped forward he put his other one around them, he silenced, waiting in the room, "Thank you." he said sincerely and they all bowed as one, "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of you and your incredible love and support these past few years." Jin and the others nodded in agreement, "And we want you to know that we are forever grateful for having you in our lives! So again, Thank you!"
There were applause beginning, but Namjoon held a hand up and it got quiet. He took a step to the side and turned to the other three, "And I would like to say something to you, my family," he choked up and Tae pulled his brother close, as a precaution, "I would have been a very lonely nerd without you guys, and I love you all so much!" he cleared his throat, "There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank my lucky star for finding you," he looked at Jin, "crying over an organic chemistry book in the library," he winked as scattered laughs were heard, "because without you," he smiled, "I wouldn't have met your little brother that day" he said making Jin cry-laugh, "and if he hadn't told me all about the history of the colour blue, the first thing he did," Namjoon turned around, "that he had learned from you, Mrs Park," he smiled at Jimin and his mother, "I wouldn't have gotten the idea for my dissertation, years later!" a loud wistle was heard and, Yoongi shouted, "Go Taehyung!" making everyone laugh.
"I love you too, dad!" Tae said with an air kiss, making Namjoon blush and do a dismissive wave.
"And then he brought home a stray Jungkook that has taught me everything about being true to yourself and what being brave is actually about. I love the two of you, and I'm so happy for you, getting engaged!"
Whistles were heard, again.
"And you make me smile, everyday." Namjoon continued, "And I couldn't imagine my life without you, even when you drive me crazy with your, well maybe we shouldn't get into that here,"
"Fucking!" someone shouted from the back making everyone giggle. Except the two culprits who were blushing and looking down on their shoes.
"Yes, well," Namjoon continued, "anyway, I feel very fortunate to have you in my life and I'm so proud of the people you've become!"
Jin squeezed them a bit extra in an silent agreement.
"And I know you will be very happy, 'cause I have never met two people in my life that enjoy eachother's company more than the two of you!" he winked at them to let them know he didn't just mean in the biblical sense.
Namjoon turned to to his mate, "And Jin," he cleared his throat, "every day I marvel at how someone so kind, and warm, and funny, and handsome, as you would choose to spend their time with me, a dull nerd, with no game!" he laughed, mostly to himself, "and before you say anything, I know, I know!" he held up his hand to stop Jin from protesting, "and it is because I know, what you know," he smiled at their little inside joke, "that I want to spend the rest of my days with you," he got down on one knee, "Kim Seokjin, baby, will you marry me?" he held up a ringbox.
Jin stood totally caught of guard, gaping at the scene before him, "But I was gonna propose to you, tonight!" he whined, marking a slap in the air above Namjoon to everyone's complete amusment.
"So, will you marry me?" Namjoon asked again.
"Of course I will, you crazy panda!" Jin said and fell on his knees infront of him, taking his head between his hands, "I love you, nerd!"
"Not as much as I love you, nerd-nerd!"
The crowd errupted in applause and whistles as they kissed, down on the floor.

Namjoon's parents were a little disappointed he hadn't told them about his planned proposal, they would've liked to get them a present, but soon realised it wasn't too late for that, by any means.
Sure, they'd had reservations at first, when Namjoon told them he was in love with a boy and wanted to make a life with him.
But after getting to know Jin and eventually the other two, they'd realised their son had met his true partner. And that they, all four of them, already were a family with really strong bonds between them.
And they loved Namjoon, even if this wasn't the future they would have chosen for him.
