"I'm gonna be sickenly sappy and fluffy and lovey-dovey now," Taehyung warned as he stood up from Yoongi's dinner table with all their friends seated around it, "I have to," he got distracted by his own thoughts and had to start at another end, "Thank you, though, for being our pillars," he looked around the table, "loving us." he nodded, "Going above and beyond to," his voice broke, "thank you." he raised his glass to them, "But, you, my love, my life," he looked at Jungkook, "I, love you, and having a home, a true home like we now have, with you, getting to, be, beside you every day, feeling you ground me, lift me up, make all the harsh things bounce away from us because of your unwavering love and support," he took Jungkook's hand, "I can't begin to tell you how much that means to me!" he smiled at him, feeling a tear escape his eye, "How much you, mean to me." he held a hand over his heart, "Ten years ago, today," Tae continued, "we kissed, for the very first time, right over there." he nodded towards the hallway, smiling fondly, "And I had never been more nervous, more terrified, more," Tae sighed, "I didn't know if you'd kick me in the nuts for even trying!"
"Sheah." Jungkook giggled, smitten, and pulled Tae down for a quick peck on the lips, "As if." he snorted with their friends chuckling fondly at them.
"We were just kids," Taehyung smiled, "falling in love. Exploring." he winked at Kook, "Taking eachother's hands, having an adventure." he paused, "And what an adventure it has been," he thought back, "this house," he looked at Yoongi, before turning back to Jungkook, "has been the place where we took our first steps to, truly, begin, you and I." he swallowed, "The place where I thought everything was going to end," he gasped when the pain hit him, "where you saved me." he had to wipe his eyes, "Where I've been the most exhilarated, happy, confused, devastated and depressed. Horny," he smiled a crooked smile, "and lonely." he took a deep breath, "It's where it all began and it seems so fitting, to me, that this is where we begin our next ten years together, too." he nodded, "And I wish we were done, I wish we had it in the bag, so we could get married here, today, with only our closest friends as witnesses, by God, I do wish that." he sighed, "But, we're not there yet, so," he turned to Jungkook again, "this anniversary dinner will have to do." he put his glass down and took both of Jungkook's hands in his own, "I have loved you every day for the past ten years. Every day. I will love you for all my days to come. You are my world, my home, my everything. What ever the world throws at us, I will love you. It's you and me, baby." he grinned, "If you're up for it?" he shrugged.
"Taehyung." Jungkook mewled and pulled him down on his lap, fitting their lips together, leaning him over the table, devouring him, not giving the faintest of fucks they were around people.
Applause and whistles where heard as pats on Jungkook's backs drew him back to his senses.
"I'll take that as a yes." Taehyung panted, smiling, as Jungkook let up only to be attacked by him a second time.

"I should say something too, shouldn't I?" Jungkook mumbled, smiling at Tae, straddling him on his lap, letting his thumbs draw circles on Tae's temples, aware, of the people around them, but lost in their private world just the same, "I've been in love with you, my angel, for over ten years," Jungkook smiled and let his fingers trace Taehyung's handsome features, "I've been scared, angry, lost and alone." he said, looking into Tae's loving eyes, shining back at him, "I've been jealous, devastated, outed and hated on," he placed his hand on Tae's cheek, "but I have never fallen out of love with you." he made a sharp intake of air, "I looked up, and there you were," he chuckled sheepishly, "and I was a changed man forever. The luckiest man. Well, I was a boy, but." he tilted his head quickly to the left, "Still lucky." he silenced for a bit, "I pride myself with being the master of my own fortune, my own success, my athletic achievements, but honestly, it's all luck. Having being born with the physical requirements and ambition to match it." he confessed, "Meeting you, falling in love with you, having the unimaginable privilege to get to call you mine, having a love so great it's changing the world, that is luck beyond luck. I am so lucky. It makes me humble. You, make me humble. Because you make me realise, what I'm really good at, which is, grabbing on to the the gifts falling in my lap and honing them in, expand them, use them, refine them, if you will. Take the chances given to me and make the best of them. That is my true talent." he nodded, gently caressing Tae's back, "And. You, are my greatest gift." he said, all serious, "And I will love you 'til the day I die and probably beyond that too."
"Oh, Jungkook." Taehyung sighed, overwhelmed.
And Jungkook just had to kiss him again.
"To the sex monkeys," Yoongi said, voice breaking, and stood up, "long may they love!"
"Long may they love!" the rest of them stood up and raised their glasses to them.
"Forever." Jungkook said, cupping Tae's face, still looking only at him.
"Forever." Taehyung agreed and placed his hands on Kook's cheeks before kissing him.
