"Baby, it's time." Taehyung woke to the love of his life's soft voice whispering in his ear, "We're getting married today." Jungkook kissed him on the head.
"We're getting married today." Taehyung repeated, almost having a hard time believing it.
He placed the softest of kisses on Kook's lips, feeling incredibly happy.
They smiled at eachother, sharing a reverent moment.
Connecting in the awe-inspirering significance of this day.
This action.
This commitment taking place between them today.
Jungkook had to take a deep, slightly unsteady, breath, moved by the enormity of their emotions, and used this thumb to dry the single tear that had escaped Taehyung's left eye.
"Good morning!" Jin's shrieking, overly peppy voice greeted them, mingling with the blipping of the door opening, as he and the guys suddenly entered their room.
Well, Tae's room.
"Did you have a nice boink?" Jin asked, opening the curtains, briskly.
"DAD!" both Taehyung and Jungkook protested, holding on to one another, in the face of this, violation.
Of their state of mind.
"Hop in the shower with you! Chop, chop." Jin ordered, clapping his hands, ripping the covers off them, forcing them up.
"In your own room." Jin hindered Jungkook's attempt to join Tae in the bathroom and pulled him out, "Hobi, take your guy to have a shower, will you?"
"Yes, sir! Will do, sir." Hobi giggled and steered Jungkook out of there, grabbing a sheet as they passed the bed and wrapped Jungkook in it, using his body to make him leave.
"Heathcliff!" Tae yelled, arm stretched out after Jungkook.
"WTH?" Jungkook gaped.
"Cathy. Is what you answer, you heathen." Yoongi laughed and helped Hobi maneuver him out.
"Cathy!" Jungkook hurriedly yelled back, dramatically reaching back for Tae, being muscled out by Yoongs and Hobbs."Kids today." Yoongi grumbled, shaking his head. But enjoying himself.
"I mean, don't let go Jack, I would've understood." Jungkook defended himself.
"Aren't you, I mean, haven't you like lived with Tae for like forever?" Yoongi asked pointedly.
"And?"
"Come. On." Yoongi said, dismayed, "He has to have forced you to watch Wuthering Heights?"
"Yeah, I'm with Yoongi on this one." Hobi nodded, aggressively, "Took him, like what? Two weeks? To force us?"
"Something like that." Yoongi agreed and opened the door to Jungkook's room.
"How is it you have keys to our rooms?" Jungkook wanted to know, "And he might have." he answered the question, "But I'm good at sleeping without formally sleeping..."
"Jin declared Martial Law and got us and Bonbon to sign off on it." Hobi shrugged.
"Ughl." Jungkook groaned, "And you agreed? Traitors."
"Didn't want you to be late." Namjoon smiled, already in the room, waiting for them, overseeing the room service guys puting their brunch out.
"Namjoon!" Jungkook exclaimed, surprised.
"Come here, son." Namjoon said and opened his arms for a hug after he'd tipped the servers and closed the door after them.
"Dad." Jungkook mewled, "You're gonna make me cry!"
"And what of your mother?" his mom said, coming into the room.
"Mom!" Jungkook changed 'parent' and hugged her tight, actually shedding a wee tear.
"I'm going to leave you guys to it," his mom assured them, "I just wanted to hug my baby boy and tell him how proud I am of him." she mushed him against her, "And how very happy I am for you getting married today. I love you so much, Jungkook! And I'm so proud!"
"Mommy." Jungkook cried, already an emotional wreck, being ripped from Taehyung and, being, momed. He tried to hide his head against her neck but ended up hanging it over her shoulder instead.
She was rather petite in comparison to him.
"Ok, kids," Mrs Jeon smiled, "Actually," she said a bit hesitant, "would it be ok if I gave each of you a hug for being such good friends to my son?"
"Of course, Mrs Jeon!" Hobi twittered and came forward to hug her.
"Don't mind if I do." Namjoon smiled and took over from Hobi.
"I don't really do hugs," Yoongi grumbled, "but I'll make an exeption for you, Mrs Jeon." he said, with a little smirk.
"I'm really proud of all of you." Mrs Jeon nodded, "The world is a better place already because you exist and you've worked so hard to make it better still. Thank you for that." she said, very sincerely.
"Oh, man." Yoongi fanned himself, tearing up, and took an on-the-cusp-of-flat-out-sobbing breath, "'S gonna be one of those days, today." he reached for som tissues.
"We wouldn't have been able to do any of it, if it wasn't for your amazing son that you gave the world." Namjoon said, meaning it, "It's us that should be thanking you, Mrs Jeon."
"He's a very good son, indeed." Mrs Jeon smiled, and pulled Kook in for another hug and kissed him on the back of his head.
"The best." Namjoon agreed, with a grin.
"You know," Mrs Jeon chuckled, "It always makes me look like the worst cougar, you and Jin, claiming him as your own, like that, but I really don't mind!" she laughed.
"Well, I wish." Namjoon winked.
"OMG, Stahp!" Jungkook whined, "Imma call child protective services if y'all keep flirting like this!" he mock gagged, "It's child abuse!" he shivered.
"Ok." Mrs Jeon giggled, "I'll leave you to it. I love you," she cupped his face, "I'm proud of you. And I'm very happy for you." she pecked him on the lips, "See you soon." she smiled, and, thankfully, left them to their brunch.
