On cue, there was a contained explosion on the stage in front of them. The Daleks appeared with Sec on a chain; to whom was on his hands and knees like a dog. "The Doctor and the Destroyer will stand before the Daleks." Dalek Thay commanded. Without hesitation, both Travelers walked forward over the top of the seats. "You will both die. It is the beginning of a new age."

"Planet Earth will become New Skaro." Dalek Jast declared confidently.

Both of them glared only at their enemies as the Doctor took the lead. "Oh, and what a world. With anything just the slightest bit different ground into the dirt." He then gestured to their chained prisoner. "That's Dalek Sec. Don't you remember? The cleverest Dalek ever and look what you've done to him. Is that your new Empire, hmmm? Is that foundation for a whole new civilization?" He was more disgusted than surprised, his hatred unable to increase any longer.

"My Daleks just understand this. If you choose death and destruction, then death and destruction will choose you." Sec said, wanting desperately for them to see reason before it was too late. Perhaps it already was.

"Incorrect. We will always survive." Dalek Thay returned without skipping a beat.

Dalek Jast then pointed its weapon at the watching lovers. "Now we will destroy our greatest enemies, the Doctor and the Great Echo."

Sec shook his head, "But they can help you." he tried to reason.

"They must die." Dalek Thay finalized, leaving no purpose for an argument.

"No, I beg you, don't."

"Exterminate!" Just as it fired a shot directly at the travelers, Sec quickly stood in front of it and died seconds later.

Outrage flooded their systems as both the Doctor and Echo knew their opportunity had come. "Your own leader. The only creature who might have led you out of the darkness and you destroyed him." he spat with venom in his tone. He then looked to the Dalek-Humans. "Do you see what they did? Huh? You see what a Dalek really is?" Looking back at the Daleks, he continued with credence towards his half-baked plan. "If we're going to die, let's give the new boys a shot. What do you think, eh? The Dalek-Humans. Their first blood. Go on. Baptize them." he urged aggressively as Echo crossed her arms in a subtle challenge.

"Dalek-Humans, take aim." Dalek Thay commanded, making them all do as told.

She then rolled her eyes. "Well? Don't make us wait. Let's get on with it." Echo sassed angrily, wanting the moment of their extinction to hurry up and arrive.

"Exterminate!" but nothing happened. They looked around at their creations in confusion. "Exterminate! Obey! Dalek-Humans will obey!"

When nothing still happened, Martha watched them with widened eyes. "They're not firing. What have you done?" she asked quietly, not wanting any attention on her.

"You will obey. Exterminate!" Dalek Jast ordered again. The confusion and rage they felt was overwhelming and impossible to ignore.

"Why?" one of the Dalek-Human men asked of their masters.

"Daleks do not question orders."

"But why?" the man asked again in a monotone voice and genuine uncertainty.

"You will stop this. You must not question."

Every captive was then staring only at the Daleks. "But you are not our master. And we, we are not Daleks." he argued further.

"No, you're not. And you never will be." the Doctor said and smirked at the watching pepper-pots. "Sorry. I got in the way of the lightning strike. Time Lord DNA got all mixed up. Just that little bit of freedom." he informed with a playful wink.
