Has time went, Diego over spoiled hey and the kids for the first time during Christmas to actually buy them all presents, this was the first one he had ever done such a thing, in reality he was buying there love, especially Sandra who was not going to let this divorce go.
Has days went, so did Diego's good guy mask, he was very mean to Sandra any time he could be, one night when he was fixing one of the cars that did not work, Sandra was outside with him trying to talk some sense, that they just needed to live apart and still have 50/50, however Diego wouldn't hear of it, he wanted her to leave and for him to stay in the house with her father and with the girls and for Sandra to go and find a job and see how hard life was without him doing it, so she would crawl back to him.
Sandra tried to talk to him to tell him that's not how things work and the girls deserved there mother, growing angry at the conversation, Diego had his air pressure with a nut or something in it, to then blow it on Sandra's leg to hurt her intentionally, Sandra jumped back to rub her leg to eye Diego who had a hard expression.
"Never mind then! I'm going inside!"
Diego turned his head to watch Sandra go to the get back into fixing the car he never could fix.
Sandra went inside to sit to the couch to wrap her arms about herself, she knew this divorce was a horrible thing, she knew that but Diego was acting petty and selfish, Sandra then looked forward to watch her girls playing with her mother to wish she could be that happy.
Sandra signed to then call it a night, to where she was upstairs later on to be video recording Diego yelling all Emily for something small and trivial, her lawyer told her to do such a thing and so she did even though this made her stomach turn, she wanted to help her daughter but she was following what her lawyer said to do, which was get his abusive behavior on video.
A bit later Emily calmed down after her father gave her his phone to then go to bed, a few days later Sandra had to get up early given Emily needed to have a dentist appointment given she had a cavity and they needed to put her under for it.
Sandra tried and alone given Diego didn't go to it, came back to make sure she took care of Emily, for Later in the night her mother went to her to let her know Diego was in the garage with a small thing of flowers to her impressed he got that for Emily.
Sandra signed to then get up from doing laundry to then meet him in the garage to eye over the flowers..
"How is Emily doing?"
"She's fine."
"So I wanted to talk about this divorce. It just can't happen Sandra, I can treat you better."
Sandra wrapped her arms about herself to eye him, this made her feel bad.
"Diego, this divorce is happening, we are better parents separate not together."
"Sandra we have only been married for two years."
"Been together for 8. It's not working out, what the girls are seeing is not a good thing."
"I tried to get a marriage counselor you wouldn't go."
"Diego you never got one, there was never any appointment made, so don't tell me that."
Sandra then signed has Diego tried to use a sob story on her, he did that quite a lot, from the Internet Sandra read this was gaslighting.
Sandra stayed put to listen to make a face.
"Diego..... It's over. We now need to do what is best for the girls."
"That's why you need to stop being a bitch and end this divorce. We are a family."
Sandra made a hard face.
"Diego you treat me like crap I am done with it, the girls dont need to see there father do this to there mother."
Sandra then signed harder has he started to talk about his mother.
"You know what I'm done."
Sandra turned about to then leave the garage to close the door to then jump, she turned about to dart her eyes over the door to breathe in and hard, she then went through the other door to look about to make sure her kids were okay to then jump again, she heard loud slams, she then went to garage to try and figure out what was going on to then look down, the vase full. Of the flowers was shattered to the ground, she then looked up to see the garage door open to see lights to see Diego leave, Sandra watched him go to eye back down to start to really breathe and hard. Diego was trying to physically hurt Sandra now, he threw those flowers at the door she went through, if Sandra didn't leave and shut that door he would have hit her.
Sandra shook her head to then go back inside to send an email to her lawyer with the picture of that, she was going to try and get a retaining order on Diego, this was not at all okay and for him to now be throwing things because of his anger problems, Sandra knew she needed to protect her girls and herself from him.
Sandra sent the email to make sure to sleep to the living room on a couch with her mother sleeping on an air mattress with the girls to let her know everything, Sandra had a very hard time sleeping that night, to not know who she really got involved with. This was the first time he ever threw something at her just because he got mad.
Sandra eventually closed her eyes to not feel at all safe inside that home and hoped her lawyer could help her.
