Human Instinct and Conflict

Man acts by his instincts and desires the benefits accordingly.

It has always been the case for thousands of years, and even now, humans still struggle somewhere in the pursuit of their interests.

To the point where no one is not at all.

But such conflicts also lead to the fall of the organization.

So there is little conflict within the organization.

But there has always been conflicting between organizations and organizations...

One example is the conflict between blacks and whites.

White people are always superior, but they protect themselves with arrogance...

They have exploited the labor of blacks by wealth and power, and they do not hesitate to discriminate.

The Chinese have no manners and no etiquette at all.

The Japanese are always arrogant, looking down on the weak.

Koreans also weigh on the weak and decide their superiority.

They discriminate against the disabled and even sexually assault the woman.

They bully the weak, curse at them, and even push them down the cliff.

But one says it's a human instinct, as books of social science always say.

Unable to read books with short concentration, I simply couldn't understand them in my pure heart.

I just couldn't understand. But when my mother said they were all human instincts,

I couldn't speak anymore.

"They don't know how to make concessions? Could they not afford to share any of their interests?"

I went to a British Gentleman. He was sitting in a chair drinking tea.

"What's wrong with you, Lutia. You don't look very happy."

"I watched a documentary with my mom about racism in America."

"I see. That's why you didn't feel good."

"Why is there racial discrimination?"

Then he closed his eyes and was lost in thought.

"You know there's nowhere without conflict, right?"

"...I know that."

"The conflict can turn into violence, discrimination, and bullying. Let me give you an example."

He covered his book and put it on the table and looked at me.

"Let a stranger come to your house and ask you to let him live here doing the housework. What would you do if he did less work and asked for more money?"

Then I was speechless. He said again.

"...white people don't easily release their accumulated wealth. If the situation between blacks and whites is the opposite, blacks will behave the same as whites. That's what human instincts are all about. They wouldn't mind doing anything for their good."

His words made me sad. And I just couldn't understand.

It was an unacceptable 'logic' and 'fact' and 'real'.

"I'm sorry, but... That's the reality you have to accept, Lutia."

He said, holding my hand. I nodded with my head down.

"Peace can't last as long as war times don't last."

And he smiled.

"But we have to do our best to make peace last long."
