Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

132. Runaway and Marry Her.

After their high school years of tip toeing around each other Sebastian and Rachel are finally together, only Rachel's dads don't approve and have tried numerous times to break them up, even spreading that Sebastian had cheated with Santana which wasn't true, and they only don't approve because of Sebastian's bad boy antics in the past when he was at Dalton, even they knew of him blackmailing her and Rachel didn't even tell them, it was Finn and Kurt that told them. So here Sebastian and Rachel were dating without Rachel's dads knowing, luckily Marley, Skylar, Blaine, Quinn, Hunter, Thad, Trent and Puck were able to help them keep it a secret.

Rachel thought it was unfair of her dads because she and Sebastian were both adults and out of school, it's not hers and Sebastian's fault that she didn't want Broadway anymore, as the moment she choked on her NYADA audition and Sebastian helped wipe her tears away, she realised that it was her dad's and Shelby's dream for her to move to New York and go on Broadway, and Rachel didn't want to be controlled or have her future picked for her like Finn was doing.

Sebastian laid in his bed in his room wishing that he and Rachel could tell the world that they are on love, but they couldn't because of her dads and them trying to break them up. As he laid there, he heard a soft knock on his apartment door, he walked towards it, looked through the peep hole and saw Hunter on the other side. Sebastian was confused when he saw him, and let him anyway.

Sebastian closed the door behind and said

"Clarington what do you want?" Hunter looked at him and said

"To help you." Sebastian sighed as he walked over to his couch and said

"You can't help me. Noone can. Unless you can somehow convince your uncles to approve of me and not try and break Rachel and I up. Then yeah I'm all ears and eager for your help. But since you can't then you can't help me." Hunter placed a comforting hand on Sebastian’s shoulder and said

"You forget that my parents approves of you for her right, and so does Rachel's sister Marley and I do too, and Rachel's friends Blaine, Quinn and Puck approve of you for Rachel too." Sebastian stayed silent and then said

"But none of them are her dads Clarington." Hunter looked at him and said

"Why do you want their approval Smythe? They with Shelby are the ones that controlled Rachel and her future. You know it was them that picked Finn for Rachel and Ryder for Marley." Sebastian looked at him and said

"I didn't know that." Hunter gave Sebastian a small nudge and said

"So imagine how angry they were when they found out that Rachel and Marley broke up with Finn and Ryder even though, those boys cheated on them." Sebastian knew that Finn cheated on Rachel. As Rachel went to him crying about what Finn had done.  Sebastian sat quietly as Hunter continued

"You and Rachel are both adults. They don't control you and they don't control Rachel." Sebastian sighed and said

"Then what am I supposed to do?" Hunter sighed and said

"That's up to you Smythe. I know how much they caused you both pain and heartache in the past with trying to break you two up. And because of that Rachel doesn't class them as family now. She classes Marley, me and my parents as family. And you wanna know something Smythe." Sebastian was shocked that Rachel didn't class her dads as her family anymore and said

"What?" Hunter gave a knowing smile to Sebastian and continued

"She classes you as family. You, Skylar and your grandparents as family." Sebastian couldn't believe what he had said and Hunter put a hand on his shoulder and said

"You could always make it official." Sebastian quickly looked at him and said

"I can't and you know that and know why." Hunter shrugged his shoulders and said

"Well you could always runaway to your grandparents and marry her. Her dads just have to suck it up." Sebastian thought about what Hunter had suggested, went to his room, picked up his jacket and small box, and went to see Rachel.

When he arrived, he knocked on Rachel's door. Rachel walked towards her door, opened and saw Sebastian on one knee holding an open small box showing a ring. Rachel couldn't believe it. And before Sebastian could say his speech Rachel kissed him and said

"Yes." Sebastian hugged her tight and Rachel said

"How..."Sebastian kissed her cheek and said

"Hunter. I figured the only person besides Marley you would ever want approval of this is your cousin." Rachel kissed him and said

"You're right." Sebastian held her tight and said

"Also pack your stuff, we are leaving, and taking Marley and Skylar with us. I'm not having your dads control your sister and try to break her and my brother up just like they tried to do with us." Rachel looked at him confused and said

"Where would we be going?" Sebastian smiled and said

"My grandparents in the country side until we find a place that's just for us. I thought we could also get married there too." Rachel couldn't believe it, she was leaving her over bearing and controlled life from her dads to being free. And having Marley by her side. Rachel hugged Sebastian, and let him in to help her pack.

When they finally arrived in the country side. They were immediately welcomed by his and Skylar's grandparents who loved and adored Rachel and Marley.

And when it was time for the wedding, Rachel was a little down that noone was walking her down the aisle. When she heard

"Need an escort or two." Rachel turned and saw Hunter and Puck. Rachel walked over to them and linked her arms through theirs and said

"Thank you. Both of you."

A month after their wedding, Sebastian and Rachel finally got a place just for them and Rachel was waiting for Sebastian to come home to tell him some happy news.
