104. Secret Warbler Valentine part 1

When Rachel opened her locker on Valentine's day she never expected to have red paper shaped hearts and pink confetti fall out of it, with a heart note falling to the ground closely behind. She bent down, picked it up, and read

Pretty girl,

Happy Valentine's day my love, hope you liked the surprise in your locker and you didn't think it was too much. I know you don't really have much luck with the day, but I am prepared to change that. So my pretty girl, prepared to be wooed and spoilt today.

Rachel smiled as she read the note, because she had a valentine, and it was a warbler, she knew that the warblers appreciated her more than what her own glee club does, and to make it special for her, one of the warblers had noticed her, something that doesn't happen. As she smiled and reread the note she heard

"You have certainly caught someone's eye and heart today." Rachel looked up and saw her friend Puck. She saw that he was looking at hearts and the confetti on the ground the fell from inside her locker and she said

"You could say that Noah." Puck looked up at her and said.

"So who's the lucky guy, do I need to be protective Noah for you to this guy?" Rachel was grateful that besides Blaine and Sam being protective over her, she had Puck too. Rachel looked at the note and said to Puck as she reread it

"I don't think you do Noah, because the boy who did this is a warbler, but please don't tell Kurt, I don't want him to bombard, confront and question every warbler about this." Puck understood why Rachel didn't want Kurt and Finn to know and said

"Secret is safe with me Rach, but what if this secret Valentine of yours send some of the warblers to serenade you in a class you share with Kurt?" Rachel hadn't thought about that and said

"If it happens, then I will explain it to him, and tell him that I don't want him to bombard and question every warbler about it.l" Puck gave Rachel a smile and said

"And if he does, I'll bombard and question him." Rachel giggled at Puck's words and he then said

"I'll help you clean up before you get in trouble for the mess." Rachel placed the note in her locker, and proceeded to clean up the the hearts and the confetti from the ground.

Rachel was in her first class sitting with Puck, Blaine and Sam working on their group assignment when they heard a knock on the door. They turned and saw Nick, Jeff, Trent and Thad. Rachel smiled when she saw them as she knew that it would be from her warbler Valentine. She smiled wider when Trent walked over to her, puck, Sam and Blaine, and handed her a small wrapped box and he said

"Here Rachie, there's also a small note on the inside. And he also told me to give you this too." Trent then handed Rachel a piece of paper with a number, when Rachel accepted the number, Nick, Jeff and Thad walked over to the table and Thad said

"And he also gives you this too." Nick, Jeff, Trent and Thad then proceeded to sing an innocent man to her.

As they were singing Rachel was starting to get emotional as no one had ever done this for her, and she felt pretty special that a warbler had done this for her. After they finished singing, Rachel smiled at Trent and said

"Trent, can you please tell him thank you, and that I loved the song, I'm a little a nervous to text him." Trent smiled at her and said

"Of course Rachie. I'll be sure to tell him." Trent, Thad, Nick and Jeff bid Rachel and Blaine farewell, and as Rachel continued to smile as they left, Blaine and Sam looked at Rachel, and Sam said

"What was that Rachel?" Before she could answer, Blaine said

"Why were four of my friends singing a billy Joel song to you and who is this he?" Rachel looked at them and said

"Can you keep a secret from Kurt, because I don't want him to know just yet." Sam and Blaine nodded their heads and Rachel said

"I have a secret valentine, I don't know who it is, all I know is that he is a warbler, and he's planning to woo and spoil me today. This morning he filled my locker with red hearts and pink confetti and the reason i don't want Kurt to know just yet is because I don't want him to bombard and question every warbler this." Blaine smiled at Rachel and said

"Well whoever the warbler is, is really putting in an effort for you today, and I won't tell Kurt." Sam smiled at Rachel and said

"It's about time someone put in an effort with you, and I know puck here will agree, and I won't tell Kurt either." Rachel was pleased for her friends, and then proceeded to open the small gift, she lifted the box lid after taking the wrapping paper off to see a gold star necklace, she took out the small note that was inside like Trent had said and read

Pretty girl,

No gold star shines brighter than you. Hope you loved the song, this gift and your Valentine's Day morning is going well, and I hope you know that the hearts and confetti were just the start of you being wooed by yours truly.

Rachel smiled at the gold star necklace in the box, and thought that the warbler really knew her well.

As the day went on Rachel had been receiving small gifts, and when glee club came, and she was sitting next to Kurt and Quinn, there was a knock on the door, they looked towards the door, and saw Hunter two different bouquet of flowers. He walked over to Quinn with one who blushed when hunter gave it to her and then handed the second one to Rachel and said

"There's a dance at dalton tonight because of Valentine's Day he hopes you will be there." Hunter walked out bidding Blaine, Kurt, Rachel and Quinn farewell. Quinn looked next to her at Rachel and said

"Who are yours from?" Rachel looked at Quinn and said

"I don't know I wish I knew." Quinn saw Rachel's uncertainty and she said

"Since hunter has already invited me, I could go with you to the dance as moral support, so you can meet your secret valentine." Rachel agreed with Quinn, and was grateful that she wasn't going alone.

Later at the Dalton dance Rachel was waiting with Quinn at the bottom of the stairs until hunter led Quinn to the warbler room, leaving Rachel alone. Rachel hoped that it wasn't a set up at all. Rachel waited and waited until she heard from behind her

"So did you like my flowers? Well you met me here, so I assumed you did." Rachel turned around, and said

"Sebastian? You're the one who's been sending me all this stuff?" Sebastian was nervous that Rachel was disappointed that it was him, and he said

"Yes, that was all me. I hope you're not disappointed that I was the one who did." Rachel was secretly pleased that it was Sebastian, and she said

"I'm not disappointed, I just don't understand. Why have you been doing this?" Sebastian was worried what she would say if he told her, but he knew he had to.
