Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

A/N: based on here's to us and I'm making it that Rachel and Sebastian duelled with smooth criminal and that Quinn never got in her car accident.

Rachel was anxious before she walked on stage to sing her solo here's to us, as afterwards, and after the awards being presented, she was going to be Mrs. Rachel Hudson. She was going to marry her true love Finn, but there was a part of her that thinks that Quinn is right, that she is giving up her dream. But Rachel knew that she was making the right decision, well she thinks she does, because she can't deny the chemistry she and Sebastian have, she has thought about the chemistry since they duelled smooth criminal, where she won because Sebastian had let her.

So here she was walking on stage, to sing her solo here's to us. As she started singing it, she looked over at Sebastian and started singing to him, he smiled proudly and with love at her, which didn't go unnoticed to Thad and Trent with the Warblers and Quinn with the new directions. Quinn knew Rachel would be making a mistake if she went through with marrying Finn. Quinn also knew with being friends with Thad, that Sebastian is in love with Rachel, but he didn't know that Rachel was engaged and planning to marry after the awards are being given out.

After the show, and before the awards were being given out and after Quinn got her Cheerio uniform back, Quinn caught up with Rachel in the hallway. Quinn looked at her and said

"What do you think? Coach sue just gave it to me." Rachel smiled at her and said

"You look amazing Quinn." Quinn always valued Rachel's honesty, and always valued her opinions because they did used to be friends back in primary school. Quinn wanted to know if Rachel was singing to Finn or Sebastian. Quinn looked at her uniform and then at Rachel and said

"Thanks, you and I have always been honest with each other, when you were singing here's to us, you were singing to Finn right?" Rachel didn't want her former friend to know that she was actually singing to Sebastian, but she knew that she had to be honest with Quinn, since they have always been honest with each other. Rachel looked down at the ring Finn had given her and said

"I want to say yes Quinn." Rachel then looked up at her and said

"But I don't think I can. You and I both know who I was really singing too." As she said that, she saw Thad and Trent walk past them. And she said

"We should head back to the stage Quinn. And I would really love it if you would come to my wedding. It wouldn't be right if you weren't there." As she said Quinn looked at her and said

"I know I haven't been supportive of it, because I do think you're making a mistake, but I wouldn't miss it Rach." Quinn then left with Rachel to the stage where they found out that the new directions and the warblers drew. As they left the stage, Quinn made a quick decision to walk over to the warblers as she made sure that no one from her team especially Rachel and Finn were gone.

Quinn walked over to The Warblers and said

"Congratulations warblers. But I need to speak with your captain alone." The warblers looked at each other and Sebastian said

"Of course Q." Sebastian nodded to the warblers to leave them alone, and he said

"What's up?" Quinn didn't know how Sebastian would react to the news, but it had to be done, he's the only one that can stop Rachel. Quinn took a deep breath and said

"You need to stop Rachel, you're the only one that can stop this, she's going to be making a mistake if she goes through with this." Sebastian was confused and he said

"Stop her from what exactly?" Quinn knew she was just beating around the bush, and she blurted out

"She's getting married to Finn. Their wedding is happening soon, and you and I both know that she was singing to you Sebastian, no one else but you, so only you can stop this Sebastian, she's going to be making a mistake if she goes through with marrying Finn." Quinn then walked away, leaving Sebastian shocked and upset, as to why Rachel didn't tell him.

Sebastian was pissed. He walked over to the warblers and said to them

"Go back to dalton and start celebrating without me, there's something I have to do." Sebastian then walked away from them pissed and annoyed, because of Rachel getting married. Truth be told he wanted to be the one that she married, not Hudson. When he arrived at the chapel he saw Rachel wearing her wedding dress waiting to go in, and to him she looked absolutely breath taking, she would be even more if it was him she was walking down the aisle to. Sebastian walked up to her, placed a hand on her shoulder and said

"We need to talk don't you think?" Rachel knew that voice and she said without turning around

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian took a deep breath and said

"To stop you from making a mistake." Rachel paused and then said

"I'm not making a mistake, I love him." When she said that, it hurt Sebastian and said

"If you love him, then why does your heart wants someone else Rachel. I know that, and you know that otherwise you wouldn't have sang to me." In that moment Rachel turned around to look at him and said

"How do you know I was singing to you?" Sebastian slowly put his hand to her cheek and said

"I have eyes Rachel, and so does Quinn, Thad and Trent. They saw you singing to me too." Sebastian took a deep breath and said

"Please don't do this Rachel." Sebastian was met with silence, he took step back to look at her and said

"You will only be hurting yourself." Sebastian kissed Rachel and then said

"I'll be at dalton in my dorm if you change your mind." Sebastian then turned and walked away, driving back to dalton. Rachel watched him walk away. She looked at the chapel clock and saw that it was almost time for her to walk in. Rachel looked at the doors, and then made her decision. She dropped her bouquet of flowers and ring on the floor, and ran out of the chapel messaging her dads and Quinn in the process.

She ran all the way to dalton since she came in Finn's car. She ran inside the school in her wedding dress, she didn't care about the guys looking at her, all she cared about was Sebastian. When she reached the dorm. She knocked on the door, when it opened she looked at him and said

"I change my mind." Rachel looked down and then at Sebastian and said

"And I love you." Sebastian stepped forward, took her hand, lead inside his dorm, and kissed her as he made her lean on the door, and said

"I love you, and the only time you are going to wear another white dress like this one, is when you are walking down the aisle toward me, I'm never going to let you go Rachel. Never."
