Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

151. Rachel and Sebastian- Part 2

Rachel was with Kurt shopping for a dress for Sebastian's parents fancy party. She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous because she was. Rachel hadn't seen Sebastian in a long time, six years to be exact.

Kurt helped Rachel pick out a dress and said

"So you know Sebastian, how?" Rachel accepted the dress and said

"I've known him since he and I were kids. He left for France at the age of ten. I haven't seen him in so long. I'm nervous but also excited to spend time with him again. I should get him and his parents something special." Rachel knew what she wanted to give Sebastian, but she didn't know what to get his parents.

Kurt softly spoke

"Just be careful, especially Sebastian, remember what happened at prom a few weeks ago and what Finn did to Jesse. Just don't test Finn." Rachel knew what Kurt was talking about and said

"I will I promise. And it's lucky then that he doesn't know Sebby and his parents then, and I don't think Finn will do anything to Sebby because Sebby's dad is a district attorney."

Rachel continued to look for the perfect dress with Kurt's help, but in the end she just opted for a nice blouse and skirt with heels to complete the outfit.

Meanwhile Sebastian walked into his parent's house and saw his little brother Skylar who was born in France and wasn't starting at Dalton for another year, and his little brother in his formal clothes and his mum Maggie in her best dress in the kitchen cooking French foods for the party, Sebastian walked into the kitchen immediately and said

"I hope you don't mind mum but I invited Rachel over, just like I know you and dad would have invited her dads over." His mum Maggie smiled at him and said

"It's okay Seb. And I did invite her dads, and Skylar is inviting a date to the party too." Sebastian looked at his brother and said

"You're bringing a date?" Skylar nodded his head and said

"Yeah, her name is Marley. She goes to my middle school. She's starting at Mckinley next year. She's going through something personal, and I thought our parents party would be a good idea for her." Sebastian was proud of his brother for taking the initiative to help and said

"Proud of you bro." Skylar thanked him, and then walked to the fridge with the trifle and left to help his dad bring the ice leaving Sebastian and Maggie in the kitchen.

Maggie looked at Sebastian and said

"You and Rachel. You always did love her." Sebastian and said

"I still do. Listen mum, is there anyway you and dad could talk and convince Hiram and Leroy to send Rachel to Crawford, she's getting bullied there really badly, and then her ex boyfriend acts really crazy, and I want to protect Rachel from it all, so is there anyway you could convince them." Maggie took her son's hand and said

"Your father and I will see what we can do Seb. Now get ready." Sebastian nodded his head and walked up to his room to change and was excited to spend the evening with Rachel.

A little later Rachel, her dads and Rachel's cousin Marley arrived at the Smythe resident, and were immediately let in by Sebastian and Skylar. Upon seeing Sebastian, Rachel felt nervous and excited and thought Sebastian looked amazing and she knew in her heart that her gift to him is the right gift and wanted to share it with him.

Sebastian took Rachel's hand as Skylar walked away with Marley, and as Hiram and Leroy walked over to the adults and said

"You know Marley?" Rachel smiled and said

"She's my cousin, but she's like a sister to me, and she was really nervous but she was excited to know that my dads and I were invited tonight, she's going through something personal so hopefully this party will help her." Sebastian squeezed Rachel's hand and said

"I'm glad she ended up being excited, my brother wanted to cheer her up. Now I have to ask Finn isn't going to hurt me because I'm with you tonight right?" Rachel shook her head and said

"No I hope not. But i don't think he will because of your dad being a district attorney, you're practically untouchable to him." Sebastian carefully lifts her hand up to his lips and kisses it, and walks to the party.

Sometime through the night Sebastian and Rachel got bored and Sebastian snuck Rachel up to his room. Rachel followed Sebastian up to his room, and cuddled up to him on his bed with door closed as they comfortably watched Encanto in each other's arms

By the end of the movie, Rachel softly said

"I brought you a gift Sebby. Like a welcome home gift." Sebastian kissed Rachel's hair and said

"You do? I have one for you too. But you can go first." Rachel slowly sat up, leaned forward and kissed him, and to her surprise he kissed her back. After a little while Sebastian pulled back slightly as Rachel is on top of him and tries to lift up his shirt after she takes her blouse off. Sebastian gently stops her and says

"Are you sure? We don't have to do this if you don't want to." Rachel leaned forward and kissed him and said

"I'm sure, it's my welcome home gift to you, and the start of our relationship where i say i love you." Sebastian smiled widely, kissed her and said

"I love you too. But we have to be quiet because of everyone down stairs." Rachel nodded her head and leaned forward to kiss him and continued what she was doing before Sebastian stopped her.

After a few hours of bliss, Rachel and Sebastian got back in their clothes, and laid in each other's arms just in case people came looking for them, and Rachel remembered

"You never told me the surprise you had for me." Sebastian held her close, kissed her hair and said

"My surprise to you is that I asked my mum to talk to your dads about getting you to Crawford to keep you safe from McKinley." Rachel sat up shocked and in awe

"You did that for me?" Sebastian placed his hand on her cheek, carassed her cheek and said

"Of course I did, because I love you and want you safe."

Rachel smiled widely and kissed him happily.

A short time later when they ventured down stairs, they were met with the news of Rachel and also Marley going to Crawford.

Ever since that night when Rachel and Sebastian got together they couldn't have been happier, and by their senior year Sebastian had proposed to her using his grandmother's engagement ring.
