Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

108. College surprise

Sebastian was in his college dorm that he shared with Peter. He moved from Ohio to get away, he messed everything up, and he knew it, just like he knew that he messed up everything with Rachel, he always wondered if Rachel got the life she wanted with Finn, he was upset just thinking about it as it should be him to do all that with her, not the oaf she is with, he was a mess, and alone, like his roommate Peter who felt that it was too late to tell MJ how he feels, they even shared a drunken kiss and shared the same bed once, but neither of them speak of that at all.

Sebastian was more of a mess than what Peter was, and Peter tried his best to help him, and to cheer him up but Sebastian wouldn't have any of it, that he always sends Peter away. Peter wanting to help his friend, walked to the cafeteria on campus trying to think of ways to help and to get Sebastian to talk him, even he knew it was pointless and useless because he knew Sebastian wouldn't talk to him about this.

As Peter walked to the coffee line in the cafeteria, as he knew how much Sebastian loved his coffee, Peter recognised a girl that was standing two people in front of him, he knew that it wasn't MJ, but he did know what Sebastian's girl but not his girl Rachel Berry looked like because of the photos he had seen. He knew that it was Rachel. Peter smiled widely, as he recognised her straight away. He cut out of the line, walked in front of where he was standing, took Rachel by the hand surprised, and then lead her to his and Sebastian's dorm.

All Rachel wanted was a coffee, but now she was getting dragged somewhere. Rachel was freaking out, because she didn't know who took her. She nervously and softly asked

"Who are you and where are you taking me?" Peter turned to smile at her as the continued walking and excitedly and quickly said

"Peter Parker, and it's really lovely to finally meet you, my roommate would be so happy that you are here, he's been dying to see you again, and to spill his feelings to you, and even wondered if you ever got the life you wanted." Peter was excited because he got to actually meet the Rachel Berry from Sebastian's photos and stories, as he was talking fast, Rachel blinked at him as she was not understanding him because he was running all his words together, and she said

"Slow down with your talking, I can not understand you when you are talking so fast." Peter took a deep breath and said

"You being here, would really cheer up my roommate like a lot." Rachel was confused at how his room mate knew her, and said

"Who's your roommate?" Peter smiles at her and said

"Just trust me." They reached his dorm, and he said

"Wait here, don't go anywhere." Peter walked inside the dorm excitedly where he sees Sebastian at his desk and said

"Dude, Dude, Dude, Dude." Over again, until Sebastian turns and says

"For an English major Parker, you have horribly small vocabulary." Peter smiled widely and said really fast that Sebastian couldn't understand him

"I was in line getting coffee for us, and standing two in front of me was her, was Rachel. Your girl Rachel. The one from your photos, so I cut out of the line, took her hand and lead her here." As Peter finished speaking, he saw Sebastian looking really confused that he gave up talking to him, walked to the door, opened it, grabbed Rachel's hand, and brings her into view so Sebastian could see her.

Sebastian was shocked and surprised that Rachel was here, his eyes grew so big in surprise and he suddenly wasn't about to talk, Rachel was in shock at seeing him, as she thought she would never see Sebastian again, as they stared at each other, Peter smiled at her and said

"I was right about you cheering him up." As he said that he left leaving Sebastian and Rachel to catch up. As he left Sebastian's eyes kept flickering from Rachel's face to her hand looking for an engagement ring from Finn on her finger, Rachel gave a small smile as she noticed what Sebastian was looking for, she looked at her hand and then at Sebastian and said

"I said no to Finn for the second time. He cheated on me with Santana, and made it seem like he was the victim." Sebastian didn't understand how Finn could do that to Rachel, and he said

"I'm so sorry." Rachel sighed and said

"It's okay, but that was the start of everything that happened in New York, I just had to get away from it all." Sebastian looked at her concerned and tentatively asked as he took her hand, and lead her to sit next to him on his bed

"What happened?" Rachel took a deep breath and said

"My life fell apart. Finn cheated on me, and then there was the funny girl incident with Santana where she had auditioned to be my understudy and then forced me to give up every show to her to be Fanny Brice, Kurt basically took over the loft and then let Finn move in with us with consulting Santana but not me, and then had a loft meeting where I was made to leave, and I had gotten kicked out of NYADA too. I had to leave to get away from it all, i had to get away from Finn, Kurt, Santana and New York, and just start again a find new direction in life, the best option was to move to Boston and studying something else." Sebastian felt bad for her, pulled her into a tight, and then said

"I'm sorry for how I acted in high school, I let my jealousy get the better of me." Rachel knew that Sebastian was trying to distract her and then said

"I forgave you a long time ago Seb, when you did the right thing about what happened with Dave, and honestly I found the photoshopped photo of Finn really funny." Sebastian was grateful that Rachel had forgiven him, but he knew that Rachel was wondering what he meant about him being jealous and he wondered himself why she never figured it out. Rachel looked up at him and did the one thing she has always wanted to do and that was kiss him which made Sebastian kiss back, and then hold her as they laid on his bed and kissing her every so often, as he was grateful that Rachel was finally his.
