Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

99. Lacrosse

Rachel was sitting front row on the Dalton bleachers that were situated by the lacrosse field with her younger sister Marley. Rachel didn't know anything about the sport, and she doubt Marley knew anything either. Rachel looked at the field where the players were warming up and saw the Smythe brothers talking with Jeff and Thad, and she said to Marley

"Remind me again why we are at Dalton watching a sport we know nothing about?" Marley smiled as she saw Skylar walking over with his older brother Sebastian Smythe who smiled widely when he saw Rachel, and she said

"We are here at Dalton watching this game because my boyfriend Skylar is playing on the Dalton team with his brother Sebastian who is captain of the team, and I promised Skylar that I would be here to support him, and I don't want to watch the game and cheer for the team on my own." Rachel tore her eyes away from the players Sebastian especially, looked at Marley and said

"This better not be one of your many plans that you have to get Sebastian and I together. I told you a million times that he and I hate each other." Marley turned to Rachel, placed her hand over heart and said

"I would never do that Rachie." As she said that, they hear

"Broadway." Rachel turned and saw Sebastian and Skylar. Sebastian smiled at her as skylar was talking to Marley and Sebastian said

"This is a surprise. I'm glad you're here." Before she could reply, they heard the siren for the game to start, Sebastian put his helmet on, and said

"Wish me luck, I hope you enjoy the game Rachel." Rachel watched Sebastian leave for the field and was memorising his number which was 24 but she was still stunned at the conversation. Marley watched Skylar on the field, and said

"I don't think Sebastian hates you Rach, I think it's quite the opposite." Rachel looked at Marley shocked and said

"What do you mean Marls?" Marley stood up and cheered as Skylar scored, and then sat back down and turned to Rachel and said

"I mean you should have seen his face when he saw that you were here." Marley then turned her attention back to the field, to watch Skylar play, while Rachel sat quietly wondering what Marley meant, as she watched the game, and watched Sebastian score the winning goal.

After the game had finished, Sebastian walked into the locker room with Skylar, Jeff and Thad. Sebastian was pleased that Rachel was at the game, he knew that it wasn't to support him, but to support the team because of Marley wanting to support Skylar. He was deep in thought about Rachel, when Thad said

"Smythe ." Sebastian knew Thad was talking to him as Skylar was mini Smythe and he said

"what is it Harwood?" Thad looked at him and said

"I noticed Rachel was here" Sebastian sighed and said

"So." Jeff smiled at him and said

"Are you finally going to ask her?" Sebastian looked at Jeff and said

"It has to be the right moment, Sterling." As he said that, Sebastian knew what he must do. He placed his lacrosse stick in his locker, and then ran out of the room, to Rachel. He ran to the stands, and he said to her

"Streisand can we talk." Rachel was sceptical about what Sebastian wanted, she then looked at Marley who said

"I'm going to congratulate Sky." Marley then stood up and left to go congratulate Skylar leaving Rachel to talk to Sebastian. Rachel looked at Sebastian and said

"What did you want Sebastian?" Sebastian sat next to her and said

"It's not what I want, it's who I want. And to put it simple, it's you I want." Rachel was shocked, Sebastian Smythe, the captain wanted her, and she said

"You want me, how long have you wanted me?" Sebastian nodded his head yes and said

"Put it this way, Skylar isn't the first Smythe brother to fall in love with a Berry girl." Rachel mentally cursed Marley for being right, and Sebastian looked at Rachel hopeful, and said

"What do you say Broadway, would you give us a shot?" Rachel thought about it, she will admit she did love seeing him play, and she said

"Depends, do I get to go to every single one of your lacrosse games?" Sebastian smiled at her and said

"As long as I'm the only one you cheer for." Rachel took Sebastian's hand, kissed his cheek and said

"I'll give us a shot." Sebastian widely, and then kissed her. When they pulled apart they smiled at each other, kissed her once more, and then left for the locker room once more, to change. Rachel watched Sebastian leave with a smile on her face, as Marley walked up to her once more, and said

"So are you going to tell me what you and Sebastian were talking about?" Rachel stood up, linked her arm with Marley and said as they walk down the stairs

"No not yet Marls, but soon I promise. And I'll be at the Dalton lacrosse games with you as well." Marley smiled widely

"I did tell you before we left for Dalton, that you will love it."

The following week Rachel once again sat with Marley on the bleachers at Dalton. Rachel smiled when she looked towards the field and saw Sebastian already looking at her, and Rachel cheered him on the loudest. After the game Sebastian took his helmet off, placed it on the ground with his lacrosse stick, walked up to Rachel and kissed her while he spun her around, leaving Marley shocked at what was happening to only find Skylar surprise kissing her too.

Sebastian smiled at Rachel and said

"My smile is not because we won, but because I have you, and have you cheering me on." Rachel was emotional at his words, and kissed Sebastian.

Later that night Marley smiled at Rachel as they ate their ice cream, and she said

"Are we not going to talk about yours and Sebastian's kiss today at his game or not." Rachel blushed and said

"I'll tell you."

Skylar smiled at Sebastian and said

"So, anything you want to tell me, you know I told you about dating Marley straight away." Sebastian turned and saw Skylar standing in his door way and he knew what Skylar wanted to talk about and said

"Been together for a week." Sebastian smiled at him and said

"I finally got my girl Skylar." Skylar walked into his brother's dorm and said

"I know you did Sebastian."
