162. The Truth

A/N: Based upon the Michael episode where they give Sebastian the confession of what he put in the rock salt

Sebastian was in the McKinley carpark waiting for his girlfriend Rachel. Sebastian knew that Rachel would be the last out of the school especially now since the New Directions minus Puck, Sam and Blaine have been giving her grief for dating him and demanded that they broke up, he knew her team was doing so because Santana had confronted him about it and demanded he and Rachel broke up, and he knew that Kurt and Finn both weren't happy about it at all and he also knew that if Santana, Kurt and Finn were wanting them to break up and planning it all so were Quinn and Brittany. It's why he planned the slushie to get on Kurt's and Finn's clothes and why he threw that slushie at Santana, it was so he could take down Quinn's plan and protect Rachel. And Sebastian knew that Rachel didn't know any about what they were doing only what Quinn, Kurt, Finn and Santana are telling her.

Sebastian had to make sure she was okay and tell her the truth about everything and with the tape recorder from his and Santana's duel and their conversation and with them giving him the tape, Sebastian now knew he had proof of what they were doing.  

Sebastian waited by his car until he saw her walking her out. Sebastian walked up to her and Rachel immediately became nervous at seeing her boyfriend because of what he did to Blaine. Sebastian slowly spoke

"Can we talk please Pretty Girl. It's important, we can go to my dorm." Rachel was unsure about going with him because of him slushing blaine and she said

"I don't know Sebby." Sebastian look down and then at Rachel and said

"You deserve the truth Rachel. to know what happened, and why I did what I did. and I was never aiming for Blaine at all." As he said that they hear

"Diva why are you talking to him? You're still with him aren't you. The others won't stand for this especially after what he did to Blaine. He's from the rival team, you shouldn't be dating him at all." they turned and saw Mercedes. Rachel was fed up with everyone dictating who she should date and who she shouldn't date.

"You never said that to Kurt when he was with Blaine while Blaine was still at Dalton. Even before Kurt transferred to Dalton. you told him to go for it. but yet here you are once again telling me to not be with someone when it's none of yours and the teams business, but because it's me and you don't like me I can't be happy like everyone else in the team. And I'm talking to my boyfriend because I want to. I shouldn't have to ask for yours or the team's permission to do so. and go ahead tell the team, you'll do so anyway even if I say no, just like you did so to Quinn and Puck with Quinn's pregnancy where you told everyone." Rachel took Sebastian's hand and walked to his car leaving Mercedes dumbfounded at what Rachel had told her. As Rachel and Sebastian walked to his car Rachel softly spoke

"We can go to your dorm and talk if you like and you can tell me everything about why you did what you did to Blaine." Sebastian lifted their hands to his lips and kissed Rachel's hand and said

"I would like that. Also it was kind of hot you standing up to Mercedes like that." Rachel blushed and what Sebastian had said.

Rachel was nervous for what Sebastian had to say. truthfully she didn't even know that Santana had gone down to Dalton to confront him. Rachel had no idea what was going on except that Blaine got hurt. Rachel suspects that what Mercedes had said, it was something to do with her and Sebastian being together. Rachel hated sacrificing her own happiness for the team who didn't appreciate her as much as she appreciated them all. and she also knew by Mercedes statement that all the glee club wanted her and Sebastian to break up, and the slushie was meant for Finn and Quinn both, and Santana getting the slushie, meant that Santana had told Sebastian the truth, and the recorded truth was given to Sebastian.

When they arrived at Dalton and walked into Sebastian's dorm with door closed, Rachel looked at him sadly and said

"Is it because of us being together. is it because I'm not with Finn and i've moved on from him and fell in love with you. and it all being Quinn's and Finn's plan to break us up Sebby. the slushie was meant for Finn and Quinn both wasn't it?" Sebastian slowly nodded his head and said

"Yes it was. and it was meant for their clothes too. and yes to everything you said too. Santana gave me the recorded confession. I guess Santana giving me the tape she wasn't in on us breaking up. She told me everything." Rachel couldn't believe it all. She sat down on Sebastian's bed and cried. She hated her team. She hated what her team is doing to her. 

Sebastian was worried for Rachel's well-being. Sebastian knew everything what Rachel was suffering because of New Directions. He knew he also had to thank Santana too, but right now his priority was Rachel. He gathered Rachel in his arms and softly sang their song to her. After Rachel calmed down and stopped crying. Sebastian kissed her temple, took out his pocket tissues that he keeps for Rachel and said as he handed her a tissue

"I have a crazy idea, if you're open to wanting to leave the New Directions all behind." Rachel blew her nose and said

"I can't go back there. So I'm open to any crazy idea." Sebastian gave a small smile and said

"You could transfer to Dalton and be the first ever female here, and be the first female warbler. Your uncle is the headmaster, and your dad used to be here too and you get to be protected by the Warblers and me, especially by me. So what do you think?" Rachel thought about it and said

"I think.... I'll have to talk to my dads and my uncle David too." Sebastian smiled widely and kissed her passionately and what followed was hours of bliss for both of them.

Two weeks later Rachel and Sebastian were hand in hand at the Lima Bean where Rachel is donning her new Dalton uniform proudly and happily. They turned to walk to their table where Rachel will sit on his lap when they saw Santana behind standing behind. Sebastian gave a sincere smile of gratitude to her and said

"Thank you. for telling me the truth, but why did you. you don't even like Rachel or me for that matter." Santana gave a small smile and nodded her head and said to them both

"It's true that I don't like you both. But you two aren't only better than Fabray, Hudson and Hummel but also I fought so long to love who i am, and to be with Brittany too. If I learnt anything from my accepting journey, you can't help you love. The heart wants what the heart wants. and hopefully after this Rachel and I can be somewhat friends and forgive me for everything that I did to her too." Rachel looked at her and said

"It will take a long time. But we'll get there Santana." Rachel gave her a small smile as she and Sebastian left for their table where Rachel sat on Sebastian's lap with Sebastian protectively pulling her close to him as Nick and Jeff playfully and teasingly say that Rachel is their Mrs. Duval-Sterling like they have always done.
