Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

41. New Love- part 2

Rachel and Quinn walked out of Quinn's bathroom after putting on their make up and walked to Quinn's car which they were taking to dalton. Once they arrived at dalton, they walked through the doors of dalton, and made every boy at dalton heads turn. Rachel felt self conscious and felt her insecurities surface. She wasn't used to the looks the boys were giving her, she walked with Quinn, and followed her to the warbler room where Trent's party was being held. When both girls entered the room, the warblers turned their heads to the door and saw the two girls.

Sebastian and Hunter looked where the other warblers were looking, and they saw Rachel and Quinn. They stood where they were standing, not wanting to move. Skylar looked at his brother and his brother's best friend and smirked, and said

"If you like them, go talk to them." As he said that, Sebastian and Hunter looked at Skylar, and Sebastian and said

"It's complicated Sky, you wouldn't understand." As Sebastian said that, Skylar studied his brother and he knew that his brother was utterly in love with Rachel Berry and Hunter was in love with Lucy Quinn Fabray. Skylar looked around the warbler, as everyone started dancing and joking about. Skylar shook his head at his brother, and then walked over to both of the girls. He smiled at them but he knew his heart belonged to Marley Rose, Rachel's sister.

Rachel and Quinn stood near the back of the warbler room, as they heard

"Looking beautiful as always, but not as beautiful as your sister Rachel." Rachel and Quinn turned and saw Skylar Smythe. Sebastian's younger brother. Rachel smiled at how smitten the younger Smythe was about her sister. She smiled at Skylar and said

"Such a smooth talker, remind me to put in a good word about you to Marley." Skylar smiled and said

"I'll hold you to that, so what brings two lovely ladies such as yourselves without the beautiful Marley, to a Dalton party that is being thrown for Trent." Rachel and Quinn looked at each other, and Quinn said

"We were invited." As she said that, Skylar knew that it was his brother's doing, and just like that he knew what to do. He signalled Thad over and whispered something in his ear. Thad smirked at Skylar's plan, turned to Quinn and said

"Would you like to dance miss Fabray?" Quinn was shocked, but she wanted Hunter to ask her, but she agreed to dance with him, which left Rachel with Skylar. Skylar lead her to the dance floor and he said

"My brother is an idiot." As he said that, Rachel chuckled a little bit and agreed with him. Skylar looked to his older brother and his best friend and he knew they loved each other and he knew that Sebastian will never talk to her. Skylar looked at Sebastian who was staring at Rachel and roaming her body with his eyes. Skylar looked at Rachel's outfit and he knew that her outfit was driving his brother crazy

Skylar stopped dancing with Rachel and said

"I'll be back I have to talk to someone." Rachel nodded her head yes in understanding just as Trent came towards her and started dancing with her. Skylar walked over to his brother, sat down next to him and said

"You love her." Sebastian looked down, then at his brother and said

"I don't." Skylar grinned and shook his head and said

"You do and you don't even realise it." Sebastian sighed and said

"If I do, there is no way she will give me a chance or feel the same way." Skylar smirked at Sebastian and said

"You invited her." Sebastian looked at his younger brother and said

"I did." Skylar smiled and said

"She's here isn't she." Sebastian turned his head to Rachel and said

"She is, isn't she." As he said that, Skylar saw Hunter suck in his pride and walked over to Quinn, he noticed Quinn's wide smile. Skylar turned to Sebastian and said

"If he can have a happy ending, so can you." Sebastian looked down and said

"Who says I like her anyway." Skylar shook his head at his brother and said

"You keep staring at her, and your have been looking at her up and down in that dress." Sebastian sighed and said

"Is it that obvious that I lover her." Skylar shrugged his shoulders and said

"Yeah it is, but not to her." Sebastian looked his brother confused and Skylar said

"She hasn't noticed because she is in love with someone as well." Sebastian sighed sadly as he thought of his Rachel being in love with someone else. He couldn't take it, he had to tell her, he needed to her. Sebastian looked up and saw Rachel dancing with the birthday boy, and said

"It's too late to tell her." Skylar wished his brother would tell her, but then again he hasn't told Marley how he felt. He watched Rachel and then said to Sebastian

"It's not too late Sebastian, there is still time." Sebastian sighed and said

"It is Sky, so please drop it." As Sebastian said that, he got up and walked out of the warbler room, and he doubt anyone would notice. Rachel saw Sebastian leave after he was talking to Skylar. She looked at Trent and said

"What is wrong with Sebastian, he doesn't seem himself." Trent stopped dancing with Rachel, smiled at her and said

"He's a boy in love with a girl who hasn't noticed him." Rachel was confused and said

"What do you mean she hasn't noticed him?" Trent smirked and said

"I mean what I mean, she's too driven and dreams so much, that she doesn't see what is right in front of her." Rachel silently sighed sadly and the thought of Sebastian being in love with another girl and how lucky she must be. She looked at Trent and said

"She seems like a lucky girl." Trent smiled at Rachel and he said

"Want to know a secret that Sebastian will never tell you because he is afraid." Rachel gave a small smile and said

"Okay." Trent smiled widely at Rachel and said

"He loves you."
