14. The special gift

Rachel's POV

I woke up, to a different feeling today, like something unexpected is going to happen, but I don't know what it is, and I don't have any clue as what it could be. I drove to school, with that thought in my head, and I saw Blaine and Kurt. I parked my car, and once I got out I walked over to them and said

"Hey." They looked at me, and instead of greeting me like they normally do, they hugged me which is unusual, and when they let go, I asked

"What was with the hug?" They looked at each other, and then said

"We can't say." I looked at them weirdly, and they led me into school, and I said to them

"You don't have to lead me anywhere, I know where to go." Kurt looked at Blaine, and Blaine then looked at me and said

"We have been told to look after you today." I stared at Blaine and I said

"By who?" Kurt then looked at me and said

"We can't say that either." I looked at them and wondered what has gotten into them all of a sudden, and Kurt then said

"Let's say we approve." I looked at him confused and said

"Approve of what?" Kurt sighed and said

"We can't say." I sighed and, let them lead me to my locker. Once I was at my locker, we saw Santana and Quinn, and I was dreading because of what they could say, and I heard

"Move out the way bitches, this is Rachel's locker, your lockers are outside by the bleachers known as the portal toilet." I looked at Blaine as he said that, because he never curses especially towards the two thirds of the unholy trinity. Santana and Quinn then walked away, and I looked at Blaine and said

"What did you do that for?" As I said that Blaine, turned to face me and said

"What no thanks." I rolled my eyes at him and said

"Thanks." Blaine chuckled and said

"I'm kidding, and to answer your question; Kurt and I are under strict conditions to look and watch after you today." I opened my locker, and I said

"By who." Blaine smiled and said

"I can't say." I grabbed my things for my first two classes, and I was escorted to my first class, and then after my first class, I was also escorted to my second class, and all my other classes for the day as well, even to glee club which I didn't mind considering they are apart of the glee club as well. I walked into glee club with them, and they made me sit in between them, and I looked at them both and asked

"Why am I sitting in between you two?" Blaine and Kurt shared a look and Kurt said

"We have been told to protect you." I rolled my eyes at him and said

"Please tell me, who told you?" Kurt and Blaine shared another look, and Blaine said

"We can't say who it is at all or else." I looked at him confused and said

"Or else what?" Blaine chuckled, and Kurt said

"Oh no, that's not to you Rach, it was what the person said to Blaine and I, and everyone else that knows, and I don't mean anyone at McKinley." As he said that, I was put a ease a little bit, until two thirds from the Unholy Trinity, Quinn and Santana walked in. They smirked at me and Kurt said

"Move aside bitches, you should know better than to mess with Rachel, you're just jealous that Rachel is going places unlike you." As Kurt said that, the smirks from Santana's and Quinn's face left, and they sat down, and I looked at Kurt and I said

"You never stood up to them before." Kurt looked at me and said

"I know, but that was for your sake, not mine." I was shocked and said

"Why?" Kurt rolled his eyes and said

"And for what feels like the millionth time today, I am not allowed to say anything." As he said that, Mr Schue walked in and today's glee lesson started. A few hours of singing and Kurt and Blaine standing up for me, the bell rang. Kurt, Blaine and I drove to the Lima Bean, and when we walked in The Warblers from Dalton Academy were there.

I only knew some of them because of Blaine and Kurt. As we walked in, Blaine and Kurt found a table, while I went to the counter and ordered three low fat soy lattes.

Once the barista handed me the drinks after I paid for them, I walked over to the table where Blain and Kurt were, and gave them their drinks, and as I sat down, I was handed a wrapped gift from Blaine.

I placed my drink on the table and stared at the gift, and Blaine said

"It's not from me, but I think you should open it." I looked at him and said

"Then who is it from?" Blaine smirked at me and said

"I can't say." I sighed and said

"Can I at least have a hint." Kurt looked at Blaine and he then said

"Fine." I looked at Kurt and he said

"Oh right... It's a male, and he is straight." I stared at the gift in front of me and Kurt said

"Just open the damn gift Diva." I rolled my eyes at him, and unwrapped the gift and saw that it was a box. I opened the box and saw a gold bracelet. It was beautiful, and as I stared at it, and I asked

"Who is it from?" Blaine drank his coffee, and when he put the cup down on the table he said

"I'm not going to say." As he said that, I put the bracelet on and Kurt said

"Just a warning, he does grand gestures." As he said that, I knew today was just the beginning of the unexpected.
