Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

146. Mistletoe Magic- Part 2

Rachel couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe that she and Sebastian were standing under mistletoe and kissing. Rachel thought for sure that the party would be boring but as she stood under the Christmas plant kissing Sebastian, she had no idea what it would entail for them now.

When they pulled apart the kiss Sebastian rested his head on hers, savouring the moment between them. Sebastian looked into Rachel's eyes and said

"I've wanted to kiss you ever since I saw you." Rachel was shocked

"Y- you have?" Sebastian gently placed his hand on her cheek and said

"I have. And I have because I love you Broadway." Rachel couldn't believe the words that Sebastian had just said.

Rachel kissed him and then said

"I love you too." As soon as Rachel said those words Sebastian's face light up like a Christmas tree. Rachel's phone then chimed and it was her dads wondering where she got to.

Rachel walked over to Sebastian's bed, to pick up her handbag, and she then looked at Sebastian as she placed her phone in her bag.

"I'm having a small christmas do tomorrow night with some friends while my dads are visiting my cousin in the hospital. I would love it if you could be there Seb." Sebastian was unsure as he knew with exception of Blaine, Sam and Puck Rachel's glee club didn't like particularly him especially Kurt, Finn and Santana.

Rachel sensed the hesitation and said

"Kurt won't be there, he's going away for Christmas with his dad, Finn and Carole and Santana and Quinn are not invited. It will only be Noah, Sam, Blaine, Trent, Nick, Jeff and Thad and maybe Tina if she's not busy, please be there Sebby please." Sebastian was grateful that Kurt, Finn, Santana and Quinn wouldn't be there, but he was still a little unsure because of Tina, but he knew he couldn't say no to Rachel.

Sebastian kissed her and said

"I'll be there Love." Rachel excitedly hugged Sebastian before he escorted her back to her dads, so she could go home.

The next day Sebastian woke up feeling excited but also nervous, he didn't want Rachel to get grilled and given an ultimatum because of them dating like what had happened in the past when she dated Jesse, it angered Sebastian that happened but angered him even more that Kurt didn't get the ultimatum either which is part of the reason why Sebastian does not like Kurt or most of the glee club and even the teacher.

Sebastian made the plan to leave for Rachel's place early so he could help her set up, once he arrived at her place he was greeted with the smell of beef brisket and latkes and knew instantly that Rachel was making some of her traditional Hanukkah foods.

He walked into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek which caused her to blush.

Rachel turned the stove off, turned around and kissed him.

"I'm really happy that you're here Sebby." Sebastian gave her a smile, hugged her and then started to help her.

A few minutes later Puck, Blaine, Sam and Tina had arrived at Rachel's with Christmas movies. Sebastian was nervous because of Tina and not knowing how she, Puck, Blaine and Sam would react to him being there.

Blaine was the first to speak

"Niff, Thad and Trent are their way, Niff and Trent ate some of the snacks and they now have to replace them." Rachel softly giggled upon hearing what Nick, Jeff and Trent had done, and imagining how Thad would be upset.

Tina placed the movies on the table when she saw Sebastian setting up the pop corn machine. She was confused and said

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian quickly turned and nervously said

"Uh hi. Tina. Rachel actually invited me." Tina was unsure about being in the same place with Sebastian given with what he did to Blaine and even to Rachel.

"I am sorry for everything that I did. What I did is something that I have to live with, and repercussions afterwards, is what I have to live with too." Tina was shocked at Sebastian's apology and said

"I forgive you, and if Rachel wants you here then it's okay with me. Who she invites over is her choice." Tina then walked off leaving a surprised Sebastian and then heard

"Let's talk Smythe." Sebastian turned and saw Puck. Sebastian knew Puck was like a brother to Rachel and knew just how protective he is of her. Sebastian hoped that this isn't going to lead to Rachel having another ultimatum given to her.

Puck lead Sebastian to a different room and said

"Rach told me you and her are now dating. Don't worry I won't give you and her an ultimatum or force you to break up. I don't believe in those things especially after the whole Kurt not being given one. But what I will do is ask you about your intentions with Rachel. I'm not thinking little of you, I just don't want Rachel hurt like how she was with Finn."

Sebastian was shocked but also happy that Rachel wasn't being given an ultimatum by Puck. Truth be told he was honestly worried about Finn, as everyone including Sebastian himself knows that Finn is only interested in Rachel when she's with another guy and acts possessively and stakes a claim on her.

"I know why you're asking Puck. And I respect that, and before I answer I just want to say that I'm actually happy that Rachel isn't being given an ultimatum because of her and I being together." Puck placed a hand on his shoulder and said

"I will not do that. I'm not Santana, Mercedes, Kurt and Finn. And nor will I ever stake a claim on her but I am protective of her and so is Sam, Blaine and your warbler friends Smythe. So answer what's your intention with Rachel?"

Sebastian sat there, and told Puck.
