71. Come dance

Rachel was at her best friends wedding. The wedding of Kurt and Blaine and Santana and Brittany. She will admit that it upset her because she knew she would never find happiness agaim because of Finn sadly passing away but she had to be strong for her friends as she didn't want to ruin their day. She sat down in her chair at her table with some of the guys that used to be warblers with Blaine and Kurt. She sat looking on towards the front as she watched everybody on the dance floor dance with each other.

How she longed to do that, and longed to dance in the arms of Finn. Something she will never get to do anymore. She sighed deeply as she turned in her seat and looked down at her drink in hand so she wouldn't have to watch the romantic dancing that she would never get.

Sebastian was at the bar with Thad and Trent who were encouraging him to talk to her as they noticed their former captain was watching Rachel intently. Sebastian will admit to himself, Thad and Trent, that he had always been in love with her. He watched her and became concerned for her, he saw Blaine and Kurt walk up him, Thad and Trent and sebastian said

"Hey you two, it's a great wedding." Blaine and Kurt smiled at him as a hello and thank you and Sebastian then glanced at Rachel and then looked back at Blaine and Kurt and said

"Is Rachel okay? She seems a little down." Kurt and Blaine looked at each other and then at Sebastian and Blaine said

"That's because she is a little down Sebastian." Sebastian was even more concerned for her, it was then Kurt saw just how much Sebastian cared for his best friend and said

"Finn passed away two weeks ago. It's hurting her pretty hard. I guess today is taking a toll on her." As Kurt said that. Sebastian, Thad And Trent looked at each other and then at him and sebastian said

"I'm sorry about your brother Kurt, I know how much he meant to you." Kurt was speechless, and said

"It's okay Sebastian." As Kurt said that, he walked away, and Thad then turned to Sebatsian and said

"This is your chance Smythe, you can be the one to console her and pick up the pieces of her broken heart." As Thad said that, Sebastian sighed and said

"I don't know." Trent folded his arms as he stood in front of him and said

"Thad is right, you're going over to her, you're going to make her happy, you've been in love with her for so long. You're Sebastian smythe, and you always get what you want, she is seated next to me and Nick. He and I agreed that she needs you, now go over there." Trent pushed Sebastian in rachel's direction, and watched on with Thad as Sebastian walked over to Rachel and sat down next to her and said

"Why so sad pretty girl?" Rachel looked uo from her drink, then looked to her left and saw Sebastian Smythe. She admired him up close, yes he was handsome and sexy but even he knew that he was and all the girls and guys wanted him. Not her though. She sighed and said

"Don't worry Sebastian." Rachel turned back to her drink and sat in silent and wishing that she could slow dance with Finn one last time. Sebastian reached for her hand and said

"I'm sorry about Finn." Rachel looked at him with silent tears and Sebastian continued

"I know how much you loved him." Rachel was grateful for Sebastian's words, no-one except Noah had said anything nice like that. She gave Sebastian a small smile and said

"Thank you Sebastian, what you said, was really kind of you, you're the only person besides my friend Noah who has said something like that. It's like others are afraid to say something or they don't know what to say." Sebastian watched her intently he was shocked at what she had said. He looked at the dance floor and then at Rachel and said

"Would you Like to dance?" Rachel shook her head and said

"I don't, I'm really sorry. I should go." She stood up, picked up her jacket, and her purse, and started walking out. As she did Blaine and puck had saw her walking out. They looked at each other and Puck said

"I'll go talk to her, you enjoy your wedding." Blaine nodded his head and Puck went after Rachel. He caught up to her and said

"How you doing?" Rachel took a deep breath and said

"I don't know Noah." Puck hugged her tight and said

"I know Rachie. He would want you happy." Rachel felt tears as she hugged him and said

"How do you know Noah?" Puck, pulled apart the hug, wiped her tears and said

"Because all he ever wanted was you to be happy, even if it meant being with Sebastian." Rachel looked up at him and said

"I don't like him." Puck looked at her and said

"You do, but you're afraid to. I wouldn't tell you to be with him, if I didn't know that he could make you happy again." Puck hugged her tight and said

"I know you miss him Rachel, you will always miss him, like I will, Finn was my brother, the first person besides you that didn't see me as a lima loser. You're going to be okay, and I really do think Smythe could make you happy, happy like Finn did." Rachel looked up at him and said

"Are you sure?" Puck nodded his head and said

"I'm sure, plus if you get knocked up, at least you will have financial support." Rachel playfully slapped him and scolded him saying

"Noah, don't say that." Puck laughed and said

"I'm joking Rach. Ask him to dance, who knows maybe something will come out of this." Rachel bit her lip nervously as puck walked back inside and stood thinking about what Puck had said, and then walked back inside and walked over to Sebastian who was at the bar and said

"Would you like to dance?" Sebastian looked to his left and saw Rachel. He held his hand out to her and said

"Of course pretty girl." Sebastian lead her to the dance floor, and they started slowly dancing. For the first time since Finn had died, she felt content in being in someone else's arms, and felt safe. She never wanted this feeling to go away. As she and Sebastian danced, Rachel felt happy for the first time ever since Finn had passed away. And in that moment she knew she wanted to dance with Sebastian for the rest of her life.

Sebastian held her closer to him and said

"I love you Rachel." Rachel smiled into his chest and said

"I love you too Sebastian."
