16. You and I will never work, here's a list why

A/N: And because the title is too long, here is the actual title: You and I will never work, here's a list why... But's that's where you are wrong

Rachel's POV

I was in the choir room standing at the piano working on some possible song choices for Regionals, when all of a sudden, I hear a knock on the door. I turned and saw Sebastian Smythe leaning on the door frame entrance of the room. I glared at him and said

"What do you want?" He walked in the room, sat down, on the chair, smirked and said

"Funny, you should ask that Broadway, and to answer your question, it's not what I want, it's who I want, and she's standing near the piano in this room." I was shocked, and I said

"Sebastian, it's never going to happen." I turned back around, and went back to what I was doing, and he then said

"Berry, you and I both know, that it will, it's inevitable because you and I always get what we want." I ignored him, and he said

"You're one of those show choir girls from a rival team and I'm one of those show choir boys from a rival team, and we are going have show choir children, it's inevitable." I turned around again and I said

"Seriously, Sebastian, I'm in a loving relationship." As I said that, Sebastian leaned back in his chair and said

"Really, you think Finn loves you." I looked at him and said

"Of course, he does." Sebastian sighed and said

"Rachel, if he loves you, then why is constantly going between you and Quinn, if he loves you then why are you constantly second with Quinn, if he loves you then why did he sleep with Santana, even though you weren't together, and given the fact that he knew she torments you, if he loves you, then why isn't he here in this room helping you, if he loves you, he wouldn't complain every time you bring up NYADA, if he loves you, then he wouldn't constantly blame you for everything wrong in his life, if he loves you...-" Before he continued, I said

"Enough Sebastian, can you please leave." As I said that, Sebastian stayed put in his seat and said

"Did I hit a nerve Broadway?" I turned back around, and I said

"I get that Finn, makes mistakes, but have a look at Jesse, he loved me." I heard another sigh, and I turned to face him again and he said

"If Jesse loved you, he wouldn't have used you, if Jesse loved you, he wouldn't have wanted your virginity to distract you from performing, if Jesse loved you, then he wouldn't have been so insecure of Finn, if Jesse loved you, he wouldn't have smashed an egg on your forehead given the fact that he knows that you are vegan." As he said that, I folded my arms and said

"Puck loved me." He looked at me and said

"Rachel, Puck was never over Quinn, but at least you didn't lose a friend with him, and at least he didn't hurt you at all." As he said that, I walked out of the choir room, walked out of McKinley, and went to the Lima Bean. I didn't want to hear anymore of what he said, but as I was walking, I heard my name, I knew it was Finn, I stopped and turned to him and I said

"Do you still love Quinn?" He looked down, and I knew the answer right away. When he looked down, I continued to walk to the Lima Bean. I sat down on my own, looked down at my lap until Sebastian sat across from me, and said

"Rachel, please give me a chance." I shook my head no, and I looked up at him and said

"You and I will never work Sebastian." He folded his arms and I continued

"You and I will never work and here's a list why." He leaned forward on the table and I said

"You're rude, you almost blinded someone, you black mail, you're mean, you threaten people, you insult everyone, you don't have respect for girls, you have insulted and picked on everyone from my team, and you not only blinded someone, but you tried to go after that same person who is in a relationship, you have tried to blackmail me into dropping out of a singing competition, so that is why you and I will never work." I watched Sebastian intently and he said

"You gave me a list of why you and I will never work, but that's where you are wrong Rachel, and here's why." I was silent, and he said

"You say I am rude, but Santana is ruder because she bullies you and puts you down, I know I almost blinded someone, but that was a lame prank gone wrong, Quinn and Santana bully you and torment you, you say I am mean, but everyone single person in your glee club is meaner to you because you have the talent to go places, you say I threaten people, but never once have I threatened you, yes I blackmailed you, but that was to break you and Finn up because he doesn't deserve you at all, you say I insult everyone, but I don't call you man hands do I, yes I pick on everyone from your team, but I don't pick on you, I never once tried to get with Blaine, it was always you, I only did the things I did for you to notice me, you and I are the same Rachel." As he said that, I looked at him and said

"No I'm not." He scoffed and said

"Rachel, you sent a girl to a crack house so she wouldn't get the solos, you can defend yourself and say it was inactive, but it doesn't justify why you done it, because you did." As he said that, he got up from the table and before he left the Liam Bean, he walked back over to the table and said to me

"You say your dreams are New York, NYADA and Broadway, but why are you so determine to be with someone who wants to keep you here in Ohio, if you were with me, I wouldn't stop you from going to New York, NYADA or Broadway because I know that's where you belong, you belong in New York, you belong at NYADA and you belong on Broadway you play in Funny Girl, you are so determined to get out of Ohio, so why settle for someone who is going to stop you from leaving, because I wouldn't stop you Rachel, and if you say that you are only with Finn because he notices you, that's where you are wrong, because I notice you, and you want to know something, Puck, Blaine, Kurt and The Warblers knows that I notice you, and if I'm going to be completely honest with you, Finn and the rest of the New Directions know that I notice you, the only person who doesn't is you because you want to settle for someone who doesn't deserve you at all." As he said that, he turned around, and walked away and left the Lima Bean, leaving me to sit in silent and process what he had said.
