50. Soulmate Ball- Part 1

Note: McKinley is an all girls school and Dalton is an all boys school
The idea of the soulmate necklace is the letter of the their soulmate, and they receive the necklace on their 18th birthday.

As Rachel woke up on the morning of her 18th birthday and walked down the stairs of where she lived after getting ready for school, she greeted her dads and her little sister Marley who was in the kitchen eating some toast as they all wished her a happy birthday, her dad Hiram hugged her from the side and said

"Rach, we know you are turning 18 today." At those words Rachel knew what it meant, her soulmate ball, but truth is she is already in love with a boy from Dalton. Rachel hoped it was him, sighed and said

"I know." Her dad Leroy looked at her, smiled and said

" which means, tonight you get a husband, don't worry we will have your dress ready for you, and you will get your soulmate necklace tonight but you get the last part when we get to Dalton." Rachel dreaded those words, the only thing she was grateful for, was that it was up to fate and not her dads, her dads bid their daughter's farewell and went to work. Rachel was silent, as Marley walked up to her, hugs her from the side and said

"I know you aren't looking forward to tonight but you never know Sebastian might be a your soulmate Rachie. You might get to be with him." Rachel leans her head on Marley's shoulder and said

"I know, but what if he's not?" Marley sighed and said

"I think he will be, but come on, we got to meet up with Quinn and Hunter before school." Rachel lifted her head, grabbed her school things, and drove herself and Marley to school, as they got there they saw Quinn and Hunter before Hunter had to go to Dalton. Rachel met up with them as Marley greeted Quinn and Hunter and left to go meet Kitty. As Marley left, Quinn looked at her best friend and said

"Happy birthday Rach, and he could be your soulmate." Hunter didn't know that Rachel is in love with his best friend, but what he did know is that his best friend is in love with Rachel. Rachel looked at Quinn and said

"What if he's not though, he's everything I want, I love him, and if he's not my soulmate I don't know what I would do." As she said that, Quinn hugged her and said

"Rach he will be, I know he will be, just like you knew Hunter was my soulmate, I know your soulmate is him." Quinn pulled apart the hug as the bell rang, kissed Hunter and walked to class with Rachel,

"Trust me Rach, Seb will be your soulmate, I just know it."

As Hunter drove back to Dalton, he walked into the school, and saw his friends, he walked over to them, and greeted his two best friends Thad Harwood the soulmate of Santana and Sebastian Smythe. Thad greeted him first

"If it isn't the soulmate of Quinn Fabray."Sebastian smirked and said

"At least she is better than Santana Lopez." Hunter looked at him and said

"You are saying that because Quinn is best friends with Rachel." Sebastian rolled his eyes and said

"Actually no, Santana bullies and torments Rachel, Quinn and Marley. But how is she by the way." As Sebastian asked that, Hunter looked at him and said

"She is worried about some guy she loves not being her soulmate, but if you ask me, I think she was talking about you, especially how Quinn was talking to her." Sebastian and Thad looked at him and said

"What do you mean?" Hunter shrugged his shoulders and said

"Quinn told her, that he would be her soulmate, she just knows, and if I'm going to be perfectly honest, besides her cousin, I have only ever seen her with three guys, me because of Quinn, your brother Skylar because he fancies Marley and you." As he said that Sebastian said

"Say that she does loves me back, what if we aren't soulmates, what if her necklaces isn't an S?" When Sebastian asked that, Thad and Hunter looked at their best friend concerned and Thad said

"Smythe, she will be, we know she will be, you have trust fate and hope that it is." Their conversation ended when the bell rang for first lesson.

As the day dragged on, and as Rachel was driving her and Marley home, she was getting more and more worried. Marley looked at her sister as they pulled into their driveway and said

"Rach, it's going to be okay, Quinn and I will be there tonight, it's going to be fine, Sebastian will be your soulmate, I just know it, and so does Skylar." Rachel sighed and said

"I'm just worried that's all." Marley took her sister's hand and said

"I know, but I do think your necklace will be an S, just like we both knew Quinn's was a H." As she said that, Rachel smiled, at her sister and they got out the car, and walked inside the house, as they closed the door, Marley turned to her sister and said

"Let's go see our dresses for tonight." Before Rachel could say anything, Marley took Rachel by the hand and ran up stairs to the rooms, where they saw a midnight blue dress in Marley's and a white dress with gold on it in Rachel's. They stared in awe, as Marley brought hers into her sister's room, she saw Rachel's and she was in surprise

"Your dress beautiful Rachel." Rachel turned and saw Marley's dress and said

"So is yours." As she said that, they heard

"Good both of you are in here." They turned to the door and saw their dad Leroy, who said

"Quinn is here, with her dress, and you three might want to get ready." As he said that, he left and Quinn walked into the room with her dress smiling.

"Ready?"
