97. Dance teacher part 2

Rachel was nervous about seeing Sebastian again, and Sebastian was pleased to see her, he smiled at her and said

"How are you?" Rachel nervously spoke

"I'm good, I should go." Rachel picked up her things, and quickly walked out. Henri looked at his dad and said

"You know Miss Berry?" Sebastian looked at his son, after watching Rachel leave and he said

"I do know her, I've known her since high school." Henri smiled at him and said

"She's the girl that has the best voice in the world, the one from your highschool stories, isn't she?" Sebastian smiled at him and said

"She is my little warbler, and she really does have the best voice I wish you could have heard it." Henri smiled widely and said

"She's really nice daddy. She let me be at the front of the class, and then waited with me for you and even let me draw you a picture." Sebastian was pleased to hear that Rachel the girl he was in love with since he first saw her, was kind to his son and was going out of her way to care about him. Sebastian hugged him and said

"I'm pleased little warbler."

The next day, Rachel once again stayed with Henri to wait for Sebastian to pick him, and once again Rachel gave Henri more paper and coloured pencils so he could draw. While Henri was colouring, he smiled at Rachel and said

"My daddy tells me you have the best voice in the world. That he loved hearing you sing." Rachel was stunned at what he had said, and Henri continued

"He's the best daddy, he sings me to sleep." Rachel smiled at Henri and said

"That's really sweet of him." Just as he was about to pick up another coloured pencil to finish his picture, Henri looked up and saw Sebastian kneeling next to him. Henri pouted at him and said

"I never got to finish my picture for you daddy." Sebastian, looked at Henri, and then at Rachel and said

"Would you like to come to the coffee shop down the road with us, we can catch up and Henri can finish his drawing?" Rachel thought about it, she did love spending time with Henri, and she did like the sound of having a coffee. Rachel gave Sebastian a smile and said

"Of course, I would love that Sebastian." As she said that, Henri smiled widely.

When they reached the coffee shop, Rachel took out the colouring pencils she packed, and placed them on the table as she sat with Henri as Sebastian walked up to the counter. Henri looked at her as he picked up the red coloured pencil and said

"Thank you miss Berry and I think daddy likes that you are here with us." Rachel didn't know what to say, and as Henri started colouring once more, Sebastian came back, and sat across from her handing a coffee to her and a hot chocolate to Henri. Sebastian looked at Rachel and said

"How have you been? I didn't know you were back." Rachel placed her hands on her cup and said

"I've been alright, still adjusting to everything, and I've only been back for a week." Sebastian knew that she was also talking about Finn. He gently reached for her hand and said

"I'm sorry to hear about Finn. For what it's worth I think he would be proud of you for coming back and giving New York another chance. Even if it's not like how you suspected it would be." Rachel was grateful for what Sebastian had said to her, and he continued

"I'm guessing you haven't seen Hummel and Anderson then have you?" Rachel shook her head no, and said

"I haven't seen them, I haven't been able to bring myself to see them, and I'm not ready for Kurt to bombard me with question after question, or for Blaine to give me a sympathetic smile when he sees me." Sebastian understood entirely, and he said

"I understand completely Streisand, really I do." Rachel looked up at Sebastian and said

"How?" Sebastian looked at Henri who was distracted with colouring, and then at Rachel and said

"When I found out I was going to be a dad two years ago, and I told my parents, my dad bombarded me with question after question, and then when Henri was born and his mum abandoned him and gave me all the rights, my tried to take over and even had colleges picked out for him, and whenever my dad tried to take over, my mum gave me sympathetic looks every time, and I had to get away from that, so when I could I came here to raise him how I wanted to." Rachel smiled at him and said

"You're doing a good job Sebastian, you really are. He's a good kid, and a really good dancer." Sebastian smiled and said

"Thank you for saying that Rachel, and of course he's a good dancer, he's my son, and we Smythe men are good at everything." Rachel shook her head laughing and said

"There's that humble attitude from highschool." Sebastian smiled widely as he watched Rachel laugh, as it was something that he hadn't heard in a long time. Henri smiled at Sebastian and showed him the picture and said

"I finished my picture now." Sebastian picked up the picture and said

"I love it little warbler." Henri smiled proudly at his dad as he finished his hot chocolate. Rachel smiled and said

"I should really get going I have my own dance class which I signed up for and then baby ballet to teach, thank you for coffee Sebastian, really." Rachel stood up, after she packed up everything and left. Henri looked at his dad and said

"Daddy." Sebastian tore his eyes away from Rachel leaving, to his son and said

"What is it Henri?" Henri curled up next to Sebastian and said

"Can you pwease tell me more of how you know Miss Berry?" Sebastian placed his arm around Henri as he told him more stories of Rachel not knowing that Henri was formulating a small plan of his own.
